06 TL 60K Scheduled Maintenance
Is it worth doing the 60K scheduled maintenance? I have no issues with my car and it has a little over 56K on it. I know that the timing belt should be replaced after about 90K. I did the 30K scheduled maintenance and I am not sure if that helped any. I just need some feedback to see if that 60k scheduled maintenance is worth doing.
60K maintenance includes a transmission fluid replacement. This is something I wouldn't miss especially if you have an AT, but even in a 6MT I wouldn't miss it. My car never missed any maintenance and my transmission still had that "internal failure". So my advice is defiantly have the transmission fluid looked after. There's a good DIY on here for that and it's an easy task that's fairly cheap if done at home.
I'd have the brake fluid replaced if older than 3 years, and a tire rotation. Of course oil if it's that time.
Overall you need to do the maintenance, but not necessarily at an Acura dealership.

Maintenence is not supposed to "help". Maintenence is a proactive way of preventing problems from happening in the first place.

You should also lube all the door/weather stripping with some 303 Aersopace Protectant or you can use the Famous shin-etsu grease that the parts dept sells. This grease is amazing and works wonders! If you do the seals, don't forget the sunroof and the trunk ones! Also check the wear on your tires and adjust the alignment if necessary
