'06 Auto Transmission Hesitation

My transmission seems to be hesitating when I shift from drive to reverse. So far I have not noticed any problems any other time. Any ideas of a possible bad part/part going bad? Someone told me that it may be a torque converter, but I would think there would be other issues as well. Thanks for any help.

How long is the hesitation? Does it jerk the whole car around.

There are more that talk about the hesitation when shifting into R or D, but these were the first i could find.

There is a slight jerk when shifting from D to R. The biggest reason I noticed it though was it is slightly longer than shifting to other gears.
