everytime i drive the car in the mornings,(mostly when making turns) it makes loud sounds, but goes away as i drive for awhile. When i opened the hood, the sounds seems like its coming from the timing belt. i have almost 73,000 miles on it. does anyone relate or know whats the problem?

 

Please describe the sounds you hear- squeaking, thumping, squeals, ticks, etc.

You might have a pulley tensioner problem if you're getting any sort of belt-related noise from the fan belt (the timing belt is inside the engine).

 

when you make turns... did you get the power steering hose recall done?? I think your pump might be failing...

 

yeah i did have the recall done. Even before i had it done, it was still making noise. For some reason it seemed like it got even worst. The sound i cant really describe it, but i'd say like a "rumbling" sound sometimes even with a little whistle. its funny sometimes because i call it my turbo. haha

 

Did you check the powersteering level and the fluid for air?
