05 TL Side View Mirror Issue

Hey AZ members, every time I open my TL door to get in, my passenger side-view mirror tilts down, similar to how it tilts down when we put the gear in "R." The problem is, it doesn't come back up to the original angle that was set and I end up readjusting it each time and every time I get into my car.

Does anyone else experience this issue? Or know how to resolve it?

It started happening about 3 months ago after I got my car back from the body shop where I had them repaint my front lip.

Do you have your mirror set in the "right" position (passenger)? Try setting in the center (neutral).

Did you adjust everything then hit the memory button?

I am having the exact same issue. I started a thread about it recently: https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-problems-fixes-114/passenger-side-mirror-resets-wrong-position-804191/

I need to find the time to open it up and see if the position sensor (I assume there is one) needs cleaning or something.

I think this was the issue... the shop must have done it by mistake or something.

Thanks!
