'05 TL leak after oil/ tranny fluid change
I took my 05 AT tl to the dealership this weekend for an oil/ tranny fluid change. Today I noticed dry fluid in the street where I park. Looked under the hood and there's quite a bit of fluid on the driver side. Ps oil and tranny fluid all appear normal though. I've attached pictures and help would be great. Also in the first pic it looks like something is missing a cap?

looks like they forgot to place the transmission filler bolt back on. Although I dont see that its threaded.
Is this picture from under neath the hood fuse box?

To be honest I've driven over 200 miles since it was changed. Anyone think I did permanent damage to the trans? Obviously getting the fluid changed again today but I've driven on salt covered roads and through rain the past week.

the only damage we afraid is that particle from out side getting into your AT, as far as ATF if you get none then there your trany won't work at all. Just do a 3x3 method and put a new bolt on this time.

If the dealership did the work, take It back immediately. Ask to speak to the service director and show him what you found. They should install a new filler plug and replace the fluid, no questions asked, and they'll also have a record of what occurred should your transmission exhibit any abnormal issues down the road as a result of F.O.D.
I just went through a similar scenario on our 2014 odyssey. Left the transmission filler plug hanging by a thread after warranty work was accomplished -noticed this after finding fluid on the top of the AT case. They picked up my vehicle, dropped off a loaner, and went over the work again.

Take it back to the dealer immediately for sure. Show them that they didn't put the fill plug back in and make them do a 3x3 fluid change. Keep all of the records as a piece of insurance if your transmission gives you any trouble in the near future. It will probably be ok so long as nothing got in there and it wasn't run too low on fluid.
That's a pretty big mistake for them to not put the plug back in....
