i have a o4 tl, and every time i turn it on in the morning, on a cold or close to cold day, it makes this weird, loud annoying noise around the engine, on the right side(passenger side). but when i let it warm up for a few minutes it goes away. can anyone explain the problem or any suggestions?????? ![Wish](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/wish.gif)

This is a recall, why are you paying? I'd go get a refund:

And welcome to AZ

Same problem here. I bought my 04 used 3 months ago, and this started to happen about 2 weeks ago.
The sound is there every time during a cold start, and even louder when I turn the wheels, but after about 5-10 minutes of driving, the sound is either less noticeable or completely gone.
I registered my car on Acura's website, and it shows that my car had gone through the Power Steering Hose Recall on 02/27/2008 so I dont think thats the problem.
Anyone have similar problem and had it fixed? I dont have warranty on my car, so I was wondering can this "fix" be delayed for 1-2 more months. One more question, do I have to pay them to diagnose the problem w/o fixing it?

Do you guys know exactly which O-Ring was replaced? The service department will have to charge me about $140 for the diagnose alone, and who knows how expensive the repair is gonna be if its not simply the O-Ring.
What he suggested though is to check it under the power steering recall. Theres a couple O-Rings involved, and the noise is more severe as you turn the wheels... Good chances that its related to the recall.
Any more people with same problem and had this fixed? I'd be great if I can get more detail on it, because the service department dude have never had to fix something thats O-Ring related that is causing this problem.
