I have a 04 TL, 51K miles on it.The main motor mounts were changed on my car to fix vibration problem during start. After the mounts were changed the vibration is gone but i have noticed that there is a slight misfire, which causes some vibrations, during the warmup period. Took it to the dealer and the service dept says that they are aware of the condition and have many cases reported. They feel that it is a very slight misfire that is ocurring during the short warm up period. The computer does not pick up the slight misses that I was feeling. He also added that this is a characteristic that develops in the cars over time. It appears to have no negative or long-term ramifications.
He said that they cannot fix it..
I find it hard to believe the service dept; If any fellow acurazine can hep me, i will feel better.
My extended warranty gets over on 23rd of this month i want to get this problem fixed before the warranty expeires.
