Wife's 04 TL with MB wheels
New to the site. We got this 04 back in Nov 07 with 30k. Just hit 180k last weekend. Only mods are Injen CAI, A-Spec I-pod adapter, & MB Interline 18x8 wheels with Goodyear Eagle GT tires. We run some General snow tires on her stock 17 wheels in the winter.
Here are a couple pics from spring 2010 after we got the new wheels and I put em on:

x2. Those are some sharp looking wheels, though.

Thanks for the comments! No other plans than to continue driving the heck out of it. Wife's daily driver, no other plans. Talked about tint, but she is gun shy on it. Had an 02 TL Type S that was silver and she got nailed for tint with that. Wasn't any darker than my truck or my old car either. Like the looks of lowering a few inches, but don't need a snow plow and she messes up the front on enough stuff on the roads.
She's the one that picked out the wheels too!
Boxer is gonna be 10 this year, she along with her brother the Bullmastiff, keep the rif raff away from our stuff!

Wife does a lot of driving for work, at least 45k a year. We are planning on running it til next year at some point depending how the repairs go. Been good so far. Did the timing belt/water pump at about 140k. Plan was to get a new car after it hits 250k...another TL if this one stays good to us, or whatever keeps the wife happy! Thats why no more mods, need longevity out of this. Never had a car with so many miles, ran my 98 5 Series to 200k before I wanted back in a truck again. My Raptor 700 gets the mods! (and my Denali has CAI and a tune)
Thanks, the boxer is a really cool dog.
Here are a few more pics and in the one of the front you can see why the car cannot be any lower!

Hmmm...those wheels don't look bad at all. Have you considered tints?
