You guys remember the 2004 Honda R&D TL right? Well this is the TypeS version.
I assume a lot of the parts were transferred from the old car to the new car, unless they just went with a new set of everything.
Does anyone have any info about this car?

Well guys thats the only photo i can find of the car, so i guess we'll just wait a little while longer and maybe someone will post one up on the web.
Or maybe a lurking Honda R&D team member could provide some insight about the car.

The 2007 Type S ran a best lap time of 2:01.731
The 2004 TL ran a best lap time of 2:03.15
(Which means the J35 shaves about 2 seconds off the lap time for that track)

Supposedly that hood is functional and dropped the operating temp by 20 degrees.
..i wonder what i can do to get that hood on my car. the supercharger would love it.

As for the NASA car, they were said to have a new set of Prototype "headers", along w/ some sort of Hondata tuning. Not sure if they were able to actually get anything accomplished from Hondata, but those "headers" I'm sure about.

Not true, the black TL has cleared headlights a drop and wheels.
The Blue one has a kit and wheels, more than any other Type S I have seen So far, hence the name of the thread.
And the logos are watermarks from our site, every pic has them so nobody from other forums where pics are potentially posted should have to wonder "what kind of wheels are those", seems logical, don't you think? Not just a shameless plug, but a reward for my 25 hour a day job.

Either way you look at it, the racecar TL has the most modifications.

Honestly, it's doable, part out your car and sell it, other heavily modded guys here have done it and moved on to something more desirable to them. I say get it if situation permits, life is too short buddy so enjoy it in every way possible plus it's only money!
By the way love this thread and happy to contribute!
