wheel teaser pics

well i finally got my wheels back from being refinished. it took way longer than i thought. they came out really nice i like them alot. 19" MAYA RT5's with chromed lip and hyper silver painted blades. they should look sweet on my type-s. i'll slap these baby's on in the next week or two. rubbers will be TOYO T1R's. at that time i'll be getting some tien ss coilovers and progress rsb installed as well. what do you guys think.

thanks bro! yea i'll have to strap the sensors to the barrel. i already talked to the rim/tire shop they said they do this all the time with no probs. i bought a new set of sensors a while ago.

What type of straps are you going to use... from the maufacturer? I had huge problems when I put the sensors on my rims and I ended up taking them out because they didn't work properly and the straps snapped.

i don't know what type they are. the place where im getting tires and sensors installed (wheel warehouse in anaheim ca.) says they do this all the time, since most new cars now have these sensors. their shop is huge and they sell alot of high end wheels. they have been in business for along time. i would think they know what they're doing.

They look 1000% better now with the silver painted center. I like the centers ALL black or ALL silver with polished lip. Not all that ugly 2 TONE SHIT. IMHO

when i decided to go with the WDP TL-S, i knew i wanted to refinish them. i was gonna go chromed lips with polished faces. but in the end i went with the hyper silver paint w/ 2 coats of clear. i put them up againts the car and i was like " damn these are gonna look tight!"

refinishing cost me $800. the rims where like 2 years old they had alittle wear and tear. now they are like brand new
