VicTL's Build Progress Thread
Got both of them from Supercomputers an Acurazine vendor. He doesn't sell either of them anymore; however, they pop up in the Black Market, from time to time. Also, I understand that AckTL05 might have purchased any remaining stock that Supercomputers had? Good luck - they are worth it and are a subtle yet effective addition to the car's ambience.
EDIT: I was also thinking of getting in on HeelToe's camber kit GB and also picking up some of XLR8's engine dampers.

VLEDs. Here is everything that I bought for them.
LEDs: http://www.v-leds.com/5K-WHITE-28-LE...22474-1-2.html
Harness: They no longer appear to sell a harness. Might explain why mine doesn't work.
Resistors: http://www.v-leds.com/Load-Resistors...-p9085827.html
As I mentioned, because DRLs have been mandatory in Canada for years, I did not need a DRL module. You might, though. Also in retrospect, I kinda wish that I'd gone for the 6Ks instead of the 5Ks. Don't get me wrong, I love the pure white and it matches my emblem light up, but the tinge of blue off the WDP is oh so nice!

Yeah, if you have a mechanic friend I would have them do it first before taking them to a random shop. The biggest pain the shop will have is adjusting them to the height you want the car to sit at rather then getting them installed in general.
Well, it looks like one of my local revscene buddies put together a dyno day event at our local tuner shop. Three pulls on the dyno for $40, instead of $99+HST. If you look further back in this thread, you will see the dyno results and a video of the TL, bone stock. Here, I have installed the ATLP Base Exhaust, race pipe (3rd cat delete) and V2 jpipe - and also an AEM V2 CAI.
Video to follow, but here are the results:

So if you look closely, you'll notice 3 things:
Notwithstanding any of the power gains, I had the sexiest sounding car of any import that was dynoed.

So if you look closely, you'll notice 3 things:
- I went from 229 whp to 241 whp.
- I bounced off the rev limiter while still on ascent (the crazy squiggles at the end).
- The previously flat (right til the end) torque curve dropped of precipitously right around when the VTEC kicked in - an effect I attribute to the CAI.
Notwithstanding any of the power gains, I had the sexiest sounding car of any import that was dynoed.

And after much delay and anticipation, I give you the dyno runs. Hear her purrrrrr!

How the hell have I missed this thread? You have a downright gorgeous TL
I have the same exhaust setup as you (ATLP V2 J-pipe, ATLP Race Pipe, ATLP Base Catback) but I have a different intake. It's nice to know about how much power I'm putting down by looking at your dyno graphs.
As for embedding, I can't figure them out from Photobucket. I usually post to YouTube when wanting to share here.

This thread has been dead for a bit, but I finally got around to installing my ISC coilovers and the Fastline short shift kit from HeelToe.
In re: shifter, it feels great! I installed the Comptech short shifter, Fastline Hybrid shifter bushings and Fastline braided stainless steel clutch cable. There is just a bit more resistance, which I think will go away once it has been worked in for a bit - but the throws are shorter and far more precise. I like it!
As for the coilovers, I've still got the back seats out and the front strut bar off to adjust the dampers. The springs were preloaded by XLR8 at street/sport level and I've got the dampers set at 30/30. The ride is crisp and surprisingly comfortable, given the sporty preload and and very little dampening.
