They have a warranty and stuff so if they go you'll get a replacement for free, VLEDs are a good company

I didn't even pre-order these things, I ordered the day they came out (Sat.) They shipped them Monday and I had them by Wed.

I know they're pricey but IMO it's worth not getting rear ended.

No wonder you thought you were going to get rear ended, you had a damn 18 SMD tree in there!! Plus your tails are dark. If you would have had a bigger SMD red LED bulb in there they would have been much brighter in the day and night.

But as long as you're happy with the V-Led bulbs, I guess that's all that matters.

Hey I bought the same bulbs J has in his car.

Yeah, I'm very happy with these. They're really bright, so if someone hits me and doesn't see them...

Well, I WISH that USR didn't smoke the reflector INSIDE the lens...it makes it hard to reflect it. But yeah, seriously...

in Dade county, no worries...nobody fkn signals anyway.
and if YOU do, they won't let you in.

Yeah, even if the housing was black (like it is) but had a clear diffuser part inside the lens, that would help dramatically.

I had the "ghost" ones and they signal area looked too chromey, then he makes a smoked, and he smokes the lens you see AND the chrome area.

Then, I made my own tails. They're not perfect...but they often remind me that I can come back and be victorious after cowering from a mod like a big ole vadge.

I miss you guys
Austin, nice pics and bulbs
You did need them
I guess that cheap little thick lens does the magic

Did you replace the rotors? With stock ones?

Yeah, a few pages back I was having problems with vibration/noise from the BM rotors. I put the stock blanks on and it cured it so I'm getting a replacement set from BM. They should be here today and I'll install them tomorrow morning.

I would, if it was for YOU to help ME with something, you dufus. Actually, next time we hang I prolly will make the drive up there.

Plus, you've done rotors twice already, I KNOW you can handle that. Call me when there's something that's out of your league...like being a man or pleasuring a girl, er whatever.

Austin, I've been meaning to ask you how you've been liking your SIII exhaust set-up. I'm hoping to go the same route over Holiday Break.

&& those LEDs

I love the exhaust, it's just perfect for what I wanted. At times, I want it to be louder, but I remind myself it's a luxury car and not an obnoxious 4-banger.

The LED's are bright as hell, I'm really happy I got them

------------------------

Gee, thanks, J.

That would be cool if you could come up here though I'm excited to take new pictures.

------------------------

One more thing...I've finally found out that my car doesn't "whistle" when I accelerate...it sounds like a metallic sound at certain pedal positions, very light accel or heavy doesn't make the noise. Quite strange.

it's like a whistle of the air whirring past the opening of the bottom of the resonator. It's pretty much because racecar.

Mine does it more than yours because I put the full round filter on the end of the opening.

It was pretty gloomy, I think it had rained a few hours before. And I have jeans on in that pic...

Yeah, from the side they're not all that great but straight back they're nice and bright

Thanks, man. They weren't switchbacks, just 6000k fog lights. No...I didn't install them yet.

Nice update on the Tritons, Austin. I've been meaning to get a set of the Triton switchbacks to replace mine. I'd love to have more light up there. Seems like they're definitely a big upgrade over your basic LED bulb.

You said you did get the switchbacks for the fronts? I am curious about those.
And interesting about the rotors. I noticed a mean shake when I had to slam on brakes in Alabama.
