nope thats for ISC coils which use the rings for preload....

for the Teins you just turn the rings so they move/rotate towards the bottom of the shock body

Sean, why didn't you give me a warning on going fully maxed on mine? You don't think that TEIN keeps some "wiggle room" of safety for the shock with the anticipation that some will lower all the lockrings all the way?

dude you dropped yours down way before I was a member!

I know on my old coils, which were a track/street set, if I were to go any lower it would have fucked the balance. I was like +10 shock stiffness up front and only +2 in back since the backs were almost bottomed, with my fronts only 1/2 way down...

but you do have a point, because these are meant to go LOWWW when mine were not designed for that.

 

Meh...she rides nice, I guess I'll leave it at that. Either that, or I've gotten used to how she rides and she really RODE much much better at Austin's height. But once you go low, it's hard to ever go back.
