Audi RS4 has 414hp lol.
I really would love to have it but it's still like $45k for a 2008 with like 50k miles.

If I had the $$ to buy an Audi I wouldn't be staying in FL.

Quick question.

After looking at a few cars on here running 9" wide rims with 235 tires, the rim seems to poke past the lip of the tire, which I can't stand. If I go up to the 245 will that be okay? 245/40/18. I like the tire's lip to be flush with the rim's lip.

What brand tire though? Because not all tires have a fat rim protector

Hankook Ventus V12 EVO

Not looking so much for a fat sidewall, just the lip of the rim flush with the lip of the tire. No gap between the tire and rim.

You'll be fine with a 245. I wouldn't do a 235 but I wouldn't go up to a 255 either.

Your 245s will look like my 235s do on my A-Specs.

But we're so good for each other

Sweet, won't be slamming either so I should be okay

Just looked back on a thread of mine and saw yours, so perfect, that's exactly what I want. Thanks!

It's been good. We watched Rango last night and it was a lot better than I thought it would be.

Today we drove out to a park and walked 2.5 miles with Cosmo

Austin, if you are looking for a little rim protection i would go with 255 (as Tyler said) or 245 at the least....

but yeah i am running 235 on my 8.5" rim and its perfect....no stretch, tad bit rim protection and kinda looks like low profile....but am biased

also check out the Firestone Firehawk AS or Indy 500 (summer only).....love that tire....love the grip, my earlier tires used to chirp a lot and these tires provide some awesome traction....

I'm going 245, 255 is too wide. And thanks but I'm going with the Hankooks, they're cheap right now with the current promo and I've heard all great things from them.

I missed this.

414 bhp is not a big deal buddy. the car weighs about 3800 lbs.

add 100bhp, and pull out 400 lbs. that's a stg3 s4.

get your god damn wheels already.

414 is a lot more than I've ever driven plus...add a supercharger and it's in business!

And I'm trying! He said they are going to be off to powder coat next and then they have to be inspected which isn't really a long process unless something is wrong with the wheel. I should have them soon!

they've had a LOT of problems boosting the 4.2...even nitrous projects are 5+ years in the making from the shop guys.

MAYBE by the time you can scoop one, they'll have it figured out. no cast block though....it would be like boosting a 350/370/g-car....new block required for anything over 500 whp

yayyyyy. I want to see what you got. because even though I hate teasers, I hate knowing nothing even more

agreed. There are a few nice concave wheels I like, but most are gross.

mostly since I helped you pick specs without seeing the wheel, I would feel responsible if you tried to go the concavity route...hah.

That's hilarious. I hope you said it in the special voice.

btw why is a tag of this thread "suicide"?

Does the thread want to kill itself because there is no progress?

I did say it in the special voice.

I honestly have no idea. I went to the "search this thread" and "suicide" turned up nothing.

Sorry for not being a millionaire and modding every second of the day

And yes John, I hate stretched tires and concave wheels.

Suicide doors belong on the Murcielago.

Pretty much Shadow, if I order custom wheels again in this lifetime I won't tell anyone its taking way too long. The cores were already in stock, all they had to do was drill them in a 5x114.3 and then powder coat them. I ordered them April 25th and the guy told me yesterday they are out of machining
