TEIN Basic .. wouldn't go low enough for me.. ..



So i got some Function Forum Type 2's to do the job..

 

too low for me. cant have something that low on NJ roads! looked better with the TEIN's. love the color tho!

The car is beautiful, but it looks retarded sitting that low. The ride height in the first picture looks MUCH better. The car just looks ghetto and/or broken whichever lol.
Besides the ride height issue I really like the color and even though I was never a fan of the Type S aspec front bumper kit it looks pretty damn nice in your pictures.

I find when the TL is too dropped it takes away from the elegance, but to each its own.

Obviously everyone has their own opinions on things, but when I see a car slammed like that the first thing that pops into my head is some ricer kid bouncin around with a rigged suspension. Dont get me wrong I like lowered cars, but over doing it actually starts to not only completely ruin the suspension geometry and ride quality, but also just looks kind of ghetto to be completely honest. Then when its that low you have to really worry about hitting things and just makes it more of a difficult daily driver (which the TL is to most people).

Anyway, like I said the car looks great I just dont like a car thats slammed like that.

thanks for all the comments and opinions folks.. There is a huge difference in the height from the basic's and the bounce isn't any difference from the TIEN's .. these coilovers were built really nice.. indeed i have a slightly harder time drivin around town but hey i've always had all my previous car's low as this so i don't mind... and if it looks broken or ghetto then maybe all the other thousands of people who ride like this must like that look lol..but thanks again folks.

Dude the aspec lip kit on your car looks very good. Aspec kit on a black TL-s doesn't look as nice. That red color is very unique and really brings out the Good looking qualities of the TL
