well i got tired of the type tails and went back to the stock look...i bought some clear side markers but only put them in the front....i also put some 15mm spacers out back...what you guys think???? should i go with the type s tails again????

If you are going to keep the clear sidemarkers up front, I would keep the TL-S tails. Dark colored sidemarkers and headlights don't blend well with all red tails

 

regular tails look much better... I was never a fan of type s tails, except on AM and sometimes NBP... sick car man

 

IMO, on WDP, base tails (04-06 and 07-08) are better than Type-S tails.

 

I beg to differ ( 07-08 & Type-s)...just not a fan of the all red .

 

Keep the base tails or even the 07-08 base tails would look good with the clear side markers. Its matches the white in the tail lights.

The clear sidemarkers look much better than I thought they would...esp on WDP. Why didn't you put the rear ones in? How is the light output? For $40, they look great. Take the tint off the headlights and see how they flow.

thanks guys....every one has the type 2 tails i just want to be different....i think they look great on a wdp especially with the type s rear bumper...as for the clear signals i dont know what to do...i got a set of type s , the red and the clear ones....the clear looks good but i blacked out my headlights and they look a little funny with the clear...

 

yo E i like the white sides thou , and u might just experiance with the type S do somethin different and the red tails u can give me back LOL ,but i think the white sidemartker looks nice and i would do some modes with the rear type s u got so then u could be different then everyone let me know when we can do mine heqadlights .. im tryin to get the type S diffusers and do somethin a lil different with them

 

looks good dude! the clear sidemarkers look better than i thought. mod those suckers and put some white LED's in there. thats if you have switchbacks in your headlights.
i like both type-s and base 04-08 tails. you could combine them like i did

 

I do like the clear side markers-looks good on a WDP TL. JP's tails are hot-if you have the inclination to do them-go for it.

 

JP's tails are absolutely, hands down the best on AZ (IMO).

yup spacers are in the rear....the tire fit pretty much flush with the body....

The clear side markers look great next to the blinkers on the mirror...but they do contrast with your headlights. Clear the headlights and you've got a match I think. Lookin' good dude!

OMFG! I know I'm over-reacting, but goddamn dude. You aced it! I dislike the Type-S tails on most colors of this car, but your combination of the two UA7 tails as one unit is priceless.

lol... I had to chuckle. The keg was flowin' when installing my kit with a buddy. By the time we got to the rear deck spoiler... well, let's just say our install was a little off. It wasn't flush with the body. Since I'm lazy, I still haven't taken it off and installed it correctly. Hell... only a keen eye would see it if I didn't bring it up to attention.

 

Where did you get a powdercoating gun?

 

Type-S tails seemed like they were made for AM cars. I do love mine that's for sure.
