tinted headlights...help!

i see that some of the TL's are going with the no amber look these days. pretty clean must i say. i know that there are a few ways to get that look from blacking everything out to purchasing new headlights and even tint. i want to get this done so i can have that look. i currently dont have to bread to purchase new headlights just yet so i guess i'll have to settle for the tint for now. but where can i find those? and how much are they? pictures and links would be great! thanks

it's not a tint.

you open up your headlights by baking them in the oven. then either take out the amber and or replace with a clear diffuser.
you also can paint the housing black or any color you wish.

This is the the actual DIY found in the 3G garage:

Here are some good reads:

And Please whatever you do, Don't use a tint to layover the headlight.

Search for Blue Batmobile. He has the tints that cover just the amber diffuser.

Theres a lot of successful members that have done it without condensation.
I'm sure you could tackle it, just take your time.

Yep those work as well. I got em and they're only $20 and the mod is easily reversible.

I say do it right the first time; don't tint. I tinted my headlights when I first got my car and it was... now that I look back at the pictures.

you can buy premade tints for the TL headlights from GRFXP.com, they also sell vinyl by the foot if you want to make your own. very simple to do
