Taillight project. What do you think?
. So this is what I'm thinking of going with is the guy on the left. Blacked out turn signal and LED cover, removing the diffuser, and leaving the reflector red. What Do you think? Don't suggest to leave the turn signal red because I think they've started gluing the left side in, I broke it taking it out.

I think the reflector is going to look out of place if it's the only red piece in the assembly

I think it looks great, and like how you left the red in. Makes it look more OEM plus than custom/aftermarket, which is a good thing. Same reason I'm a sucker for blacked out headlights with stock reflectors.

I decided to keep the bottom reflector red. I'm working on opening the next taillights, and the other one is currently drying. FYI JB weld is a lot more messy than I thought it would be. Ill probably sand all the excess off to make it a little cleaner. Also had an issue getting the bezel out of the lens so I had to cut some more off, the problem that caused is I had some bigger gaps than I wanted. The second taillight should go a lot smoother since I know where to cut.

Thanks for the compliment guys.
Second taillight went much much smoother. Cuts were perfect, much easier to seal up. The epoxy is drying right now should hopefully get pics for you guys. Also. Get step my step directions for cutting as well. The only thing that's sucks is getting every little black spec out of the lens. A lot of static in there.

I was originally going to go all black and use my spare red rear sidemarkers and fab up a slot into my lower aspec lip and have the sidemarkers light up, but I liked the way the red reflector looked, less work for me.

Looks nice! Can't wait to see it 100% on the car.

No problem. It's not for everyone, it's something different. Thanks for your honest opinion anyways
I used the JB weld to seal them. Won't use that stuff anymore, way to messy for me. I found some good stuff I used on the other taillight that dries a lot faster.
