Thanks to all for the info on what to do. Let me start by saying that the insurance totalled the car. I asked to buy it back and they told me it would be $4,800, so that's out of the question for me. I don't really have the tools or the time to keep the car and part it out. I'm going to try to take as much as I can from it and let them take it away. I can't find a Type-S 6 speed anywhere or an '06 6-speed w/ nav anywhere either. So as of now, I still don't know what I'm getting. And the rental that I got is the biggest piece of shit that I have ever driven. A damn Jeep compass. But anyway, thank you all and I will keep you informed on my next ride. Hopefully another Acura

buy back for just under 5k... meh, if you sold all the parts it wouldn't be worth it, sucks...

But still don't know what to get. A TypeS, 330i or 335i or IS350. New, used??????? This fucking sucks
^^ +1....that car is just amazing!!...if not that then grab a type-s 6spd...transfer your wheels to it and start fresh! new car is betta but certified pre-owned might get u a good deal on either car. my $.02

I'm really sorry Michael, I've been out for a while didn't see this until today, we're going to miss your car at the meets now, it use to be one of the hottes AM I ever seen, but what is important is that you and the family are fine, good luck with your new car and I hope to see you back at the meets in the future.
