Your middle console looks nice! Mine still has the factory one on there and it's got a bunch of elbow indentation marks from the previous owner lol.

I had it redone and added extra padding to it. Decided to do it in black so it would match the seat inserts.

The black looks good! Have you considered matching headrests?

Originally I was going to do it in black but decided to keep it like the type s seats and only do the perforated sections in black.

Nice progress

Have anymore pictures of the rear?

I'm interested in a roof spoiler but don't know how it will look without the window visors.

Thanks, it's the only pictures I have right now. If it's not raining here tomorrow I'll try and get some more. It looks great without the window visors, I'm still trying to decide if I want window visors or not.

Thanks and no that was another member fsttyms1 we have the same color car except he has 3.7L 6 speed. Had I swapped my second gen to a manual I would not have gotten a third gen.

Love the 2 tone look of the interior. Think it would look fantastic with a camel interior. Where'd you take it to get it done?

Thumbs up 2nd Gen vs: 3rd Gen TL models

Yeah, gotta say that the 3rd Gen models.......especially in "S" trim with the factory 6 speed stick are indeed very enticing. But, personally the 2nd Gens have a timeless appearance especially when modded as yours is. It's a difficult thing to compare the car's different features, as they each are unique with their own stong points. Now I know why ya can't part with the old gal !!!

Thanks I had a local interior shop do it. Any shop near you should be able to do it just price it from a couple different shops.

It's hard to compare them I like them both. Part of the reason I kept my 2nd gen tl is because it's not worth very much so I daily drive it to keep the miles off my third gen tl.

Got the brakes done today and cleaned the inside of the wheels while they were off. Didn't get any shots of the interior I'll get some Tuesday when I clean it up.

Did you use just basic caliper paint? Any primer? and where did you order the stickers?

I need to repaint mine...I'm not sure I'd like the brembo or the Acura stickers. Does everything seem to be holding up ok?

Great work!

No primer for mine. Just used caliper paint, but it was sanded down well. I went with Brembo stickers from Ebay.

Thanks I taped everything off that I didn't want painted and kept going back to make sure I didn't miss anything.

I just used vht silver caliper paint no primer and I ordered the stickers off eBay they are 4"x1". Everything is holding up fine so far but I don't drive the car everyday. I'm glad I did it the original paint was peeling bad and it bothered me everytime I looked at it. These are the stickers I used.
