Take a look at this thread. It's an 07 Type S ASM, but it will help give you an idea. I have a 06 ASM, this swayed me to do swap out, but not for a few months.

personally, i think those lights are nice and all, but i dont think they are that much nicer than the othr lights on silver TLz

i waited one week after i bought my car a couldn't wait to install 07' tl-s tails and sidemarkers. after looking at all these cars with them, i ordered them. i love the look.

Gome - were they easy to install............do you get the whole tail light or is it just the shell you buy and reuse the existing stock insides?

Did you notice that your trunk lid isn't even with your car?

and what doesn SSM mean?

that little silver piece is for the driver side door lock mod, it replaces the factory one w/ the key hole in it. easy 2 minute mod, and looks clean! i did it on mine as well.

Yes I noticed it. Unfortunately I wrecked my car not to long ago; I keep finding more things than I care to like that now. SSM is Satin Silver Metallic, it is the color of the car.

I should have my parts in on Monday for the new tails and side markers, How long did it take you to install them? Did you have to take off any of the rear bumper?

you need to remove the bumper to install tails. but when installing, you can remove half the bumper at a time. there is a thread showing exactly how to do it. good luck.
