SSM after Meguirs clay bar and three step 56K beware

Heres some pics of my 04 SSM after a days worth of washing, clay bar, wash, cleaner wax, polish, and final wax with Meguirs three step. Bought the car used so i had to spend some time on it with the clay bar but it was 150% WORTH IT. Great alternative to ZAINO and half the price. The reflections in the paint are pretty deep for silver, only my camaro which was black metallic with more coats of clear than you could imagine, was deeper. Now i need to yank off the front bumper and clear the headlights and maybe some a spec or i forged wheels and comptech springs with yellow koni's. Damn this cars getting expensive. As you all know its S/C and comptech cat back. On to the pics.....

My advice is to get klasse AIO (all in one) so your 3 steps becomes 2 - aio then wax.

I like zaino myself but i didnt feel like going to get it and to tell you the truth i may like this alittle more. It poured all night last night and this morning i got in and blew down the road at 70 and it looks as good as it did yesterday. Meguirs clay bar is def better than zainos. If the car was black or blue then i would have gone zaino because i think it polishes better.

Ryan,

When you clay bar, polish and wax... you don't have to re-WAX it again. The wax itself protects the paint from the rain. It'll last you a few months at least.

I use pinnical. That wax is awesome, if you like I can put a coat on yours. Mine shines like a new penny.

BTW, did you find out about the intake mod from pepboys? I left you a voice mail.

J.

Washed it again this morning and put a coat of Meguiars NXT paste wax on it. Looks alittle deeper in reflections and is definetly smoother than it was with just the carnuba wax.

Ryan,

Try Pinnacle, that's what I use. It's $70 paste wax, pure Brazillian and shines like crazy. Different kind of paste wax makes a difference. I'll show you at our next install.
