Some new Volk's for ya

Got my Volk Sf-Challenges back from repair. In total after repair they cost me $1350, with Falken fk452's with maybe 5k on them. I really like them, and I really feel the road now! Think it gives me a sportier look than my old 20's.

Let me know what you think. The wdp is my friend trickytl.......

I think they look great on your silver car!

How are the Falkens? Are they quiet on the road?

Alot less road noise! Could be the combo of the tires and the hub rings though. Very sticky!

Veryyy Nice! (Borat)

Nice deal, and nice wheels! Way to capitalize "Capt"!!

Looking at the wheels after repair, they look real nice. A lot of detail to a SF wheel though. I would've bought them myself if I had the chance but been bitchin' everytime I had to clean them - which for Stella means often! Hahaha! But that's not a problem for the detail guru 'Bowski!!

Just moderate curabage, and a few slight bends. Nothing major really.

Thanks for all the compliments guys, I'm falling back in love with my car

You know, I thought they would be hard to clean also. But I cleaned them this morning and if I just spray them off every few days it won't be too bad. And after switching to the hawk ceramic pads I don't have as much break dust anymore. Gotta paint my back to calipers this morning

smaller compared to my old 20's? these have a different offset, with smaller lips.....but I think they look pretty big for 19's

Very nice, they look like new-awesome job, glad for ya bro, but you should have joined the TE club instead ahaha, more fitting to the TL big ass body IMHO-6 massive spokes, the SF-C look delicate and small in comparison, not my cup of tea, but hey...congrats nonetheless

For those of you going from OEM rims to volks (or any lighter rim than factory), do you feel the difference in performance in terms of the loss of unsprung weight? I have had difficulties getting true and consistent factory rim weights, no specs are available through Acura. But the difference from factory to volks must be significant.

only reason why they'll be tough to keep clean is because they're volks...why? because when i had my old privat netz, i'd clean them, but i'd just clean them...with my new volk gt-s, even though it's not a mesh wheel and not as much of a bitch to clean, i spend more time cleaning them because they ARE volk wheels....

i dunno how much those wheels weighed, but i know my 19x8.5 volk gt-s were 26lbs per wheel with no tire....so i think it's actually heavier than stock no? but i do notice the car does drive better for some reason even though the privat netz were 22lbs....maybe it's a mental thing because they're volks i think they're better?

No way, the GTS are one of the lightest volks ever made, i think in 19" theyre like 19-20lbs

wrong....the forged mag te37 is probably the lightest wheel.... and i know these wheels are 26lbs because i weighed them before i had tires mounted

^Come down silly, you have the same interior as everyone else and the same fake trim whether it's plood or fiber hehe, IF you even have a TL that is! Everyone has opinions around here, deal with it, you are acting worse than a noob talking nonsense like this

I wouldn't say that these rims look cheap, they do look busy to me though, but hey everything Rays makes is solid, so it's all good, it all depends on a taste
