RPTLS08 Progress thread: Aggressive offset update 12/10/2014

Hey guy's ive been on azine for a while now and have made some decent progress with my car so i figured its time to do a progress thread. I'm not sure how to exactly do this so sorry if its a long post.

Bought my 08 WDP TL-S in 2009 with around 4k miles on it. Most of the pics I took myself so please excuse the poor quality.

This was the day I picked it up from the dealership and was eager to snap a pic with my phone.

The first mod I did was to get the windows tinted. I have 35% all around including the windshield.

Then I got Di-noc carbon fiber happy and did all the trim pieces in my interior.

Next I had an Injen CAI installed

After a 4 month period of no mods in a week I lowered the car on Tein Basics, got my roof painted black, upgraded my HID bulbs, and upgraded my fogs to PIAA yellow bulbs. Again I apologize for the bad photography.

This is one of the first decent photos of the car... credit goes to Tyler (CLtotheTL32)

Then I finally got wheels. After waiting months for them to arrive, I got Weds Maverick 110S.
Specs:
19x9 +21 front
19x10 +24 rear

I was really excited to take some pics and post the night/next morning I got them mounted. At this point I wasn't running any camber in the rear so they stuck out quite a bit. I still had to adjust the ride height and pull my fenders.

As of right now I have plasti-dipped the front grill, lowered the car more, pulled the fenders, and added -3 camber to the rear.

A full list of mods can be found in my signature. Any comments/criticism is welcome!

Looks good...really good. What's next?

btw, how much did you pay to have your roof painted...I've been seriously considering this instead of vinyl.

I'm glad you made a progress thread Ravin! It's what the cool kids do

Your car looks great as usual. I'm glad I've been able to see your car in person on multiple occasions. I'll try to take more pictures of it next time I see it so you can add them to this thread

So what's next? Oh never mind, I already know

i get alot of mixed reactions when people see my stretch. its usually 50/50, either they love the way it looks or they hate it. either way i appreciate any kind of criticism both positive and negative. im not the type of person who will get butt hurt because someone disagrees with me like alot of ppl on azine do

If times permits next weekend, we should get the three wdps together for a shoot.

I'm excited for the big meet too.

i need some help deciding... im about to pull the trigger on an aspec lip kit. but im going for the VIP look for my car and I think the Type-s lip might be too sporty. Should i go ahead with the Type s lip or make a base lip fit. what do you think will fit better with the overall look of my car

i think the only mod is to flip the fog light housings. Type-s slants down while the base slants up. Here is mine with the base lip for reference.

That's one of the best ways to identify a Type S as opposed to a Base TL.
