No update. Just more questions.

I went out and decided to check the sensors today. Removed the battery when it started thundering so I put the battery back and reconnected it and went inside. When it stopped raining I went outside to enter the codes and everything but now it seems like the battery is dead. Everything works in acc mode but when you go to crank the car it just clicks.

However, now the D light doesn't flash and the CEL and other lights go off after a second like they're supposed to. So this has me thinking, could this all be because of a bad battery? Its the original Acura battery and died in April but I got it jumped off and checked but Autozone said the battery was still okay.

The other question is that I'm just wondering if what I'm pointing at is the correct sensor that would be needed to be replaced if in fact it is a sensor?

Sold them. I was tired of having them rub on turns and when I had luggage or people in the car. I could've run some negative camber but didn't want to run through tires. I could've also just run a little smaller tire, but then again I didn't want to have to buy 2 new tires.

I was able to sell them for slightly more than I paid after shipping, getting them mounted, and fenders rolled. So financially it's like I never bought them.

And it works out because, depending on what happens with the tranny, I might switch over to an Evo MR.

I wouldn't make that swap but good luck with whatever you decide to do! Get new or CPO since most are driven the shit out of.

Still just talking about it. I'll probably end up keeping the Type S and just drive it into the ground after the tranny gets straightened out.

Ross....am glad the codes went away....things can be very finicky with the car....

If you read my post (from a month back) on the last page (post #609), the battery/voltage issues which I mentioned do, do a lot....

Get a jump and head to advance auto parts....they will check your electrical system for free...I would also have them pull all the stored codes in the ECU....am/was pretty sure the issue was a connector since solenoids dont fail that often....

I got the Autocraft gold battery for the wifeys Lexus from AAP for $110 - 25% discount (code: BATX) and they installed it for free....been almost 2 years and the battery still cranks up like it did when we first installed it....not bad for out the door in $75-ish

Haha I kind of agree Meko. The other set looked great and were so flush, actually too flush.

It got to the point where I almost dreaded driving my car because the scrubbing just got on my nerves and started to piss me off. I couldn't go out on spirited drives or have fun on some of the windy roads, and I kind of started to miss it.

I do miss how flush they sat though because my waffles are hellasunk.

Any reccomendations on spacers? I know almost everyone does 15f and 20r but I was thinking about 20 all around. I don't want any rubbing though and want to run stock camber so my tires don't go to shit.

The next set of wheels I get (if I actually do get another set) will be Aspecs. Go for that factory + look that Tyler and a few other members have pulled off so well.

You have springs right? Stock camber is fine then.. since you don't want to ruin the inside thread as well

After getting +20 all around, I don't think you will waste money on A-Spec rims

I love and want them too but being pricey and heavy rims and hard to find gunmetal one pushes me away from it
Mostly, being heavy

Get +20r, +15f if you ask me but don't know which brands are good. Tyler knows I think

Ross, if you like the camber of how you are sitting right now, measure the gap between the tire and fender and get the spacers

Not sure if my warranty covers a 6 speed swap.

I'll ask about that or doing a double clutch gearbox.

Yep. We won't pay a cent. That's part of the reason I didn't go through with replacing the sensors when I found out they were like $200 a piece.

And the best part is I can take it to any shop or dealer I want.

The Acura dealer it's going to said they'd have a loaner for us tomorrow morning.

Hopefully it's really is just the sensor and I'll have my car back tomorrow or Friday.

Austin's right, they were $197 each.

Loaner car is nothing special, just a CBP RDX with tech package. No pics of it though, I'm banned from driving my Acura's loaner cars so my mom is driving it.

Goodness gracious have I missed my car. Final tally was 51 days without driving it.

Also broke 100k miles today riding around town. Took a pic at 99,999 miles but my phone died and I missed the 100k pic.

Now I'm already thinking about mods. Want to do something to the interior so I can actually enjoy it but don't know what to do. Don't want to use DiNoc over the cf that's already in there though so now I'm at a blank as to what I could mod.

That RDX has a weird turbo sound, loudest stock I've ever heard haha
ZDX sucks, it knocked me down while trying to get in to rear seat.

The RDX we got didn't have the turbo or SHAWD.

I am going to need tires soon. The dealer said today they had some for like $450 but I can't decided if I want to do 255's or not so I didn't take them up on it.

Ah that's right

255 on stockies? Get 245/40/17
Or if the dealer will install them, balance them wih $450, do it
