Im lovin the progress J; headlights and tail lights look awesome. I love the white brembos too. I'm still debating what color I want to do mine!

The wheels look sick, and I mean both sets. I think this time around I will keep my waffles as my stockies instead of the aspecs though, seems like everyone has them

They're the optional oe wheel that just so happens to look great on the 3G.

Of course everyone has them!

Which makes you wonder...why are waffles stolen so often and aspecs aren't?

Waffles wheels are stolen by the same type of people who steal civic's. When you get to that mentality and try to understand the logic, you've become brain dead.

Congrats on the pickup. I just skimmed all the pages to get caught up. A few things I noted…

1. Shoulda kept rocking the Type S sides with Aspec front and back. We coulda been twinkies. I still personally don’t think it’s enough of a difference to spend the dough. That’s my $0.02 anyway.
2. You’ve put amber DRL on two TLs before I could get around to doing it on mine.
3. Loved those shots with the Wolfgang sealer freshly applied. Paint looked so deep.
4. Your removal of the black vinyl roof to expose the stock color has sealed my decision to leave my roof as is…all nice and WDP for the world to see.
5. I’ve been dealing with that dang “tighten fuel cap” message since I bought the car. Guess it’s time to fix that.
6. I do like the cleared headlights on your car, but I still can’t bring myself to crack mine open. Still digging the amber on the WDP for me.
7. Have you been happy with the DEPOS with the black bezels? Do they fog up much, if any?
8. I like the Brembo rear caliper covers.

Love what you've done with it. Keep it up.

Cracking the headlights open seems like a daunting task, but it seriously isn't. Honestly, it's kind of hard to screw up. If anything, the only thing I can recommend is making sure you buy some replacement butyl tape to seal the headlights back up. Otherwise, it's pretty dang easy.

Anyway, overcast/stormy today...got a couple of new ones...

I think because of how many type s goverment issue stock wheels are out there vs the aspecs which were a specialty item.

1. Hmmm...I may agree with you on that!
2. I'm a freak! Ironically I really dig the white on the KBP color.
3. Thank you!
4. No vinyl!
5. My buddy's told me which thing to buy, super easy to swap and cost $95 to fix.
6. Now that it's done, I can't tell you how happy I am that I did it.
7. No fog...but the fitment is off, that's for sure. Oh well...I have 2 other OEM sets to choose from.
8. Thanks!

As someone that has done my own headlights about 10 times and helped others...I can tell you that I totally disagree. I think doing headlights sucks fucking ass and every time I do it I make a different mistake (but I don't repeat the same ones)...I'm relatively intelligent and meticulous and experienced. If that's how I feel...I would be cautious giving that advice to everyone...that it's easy.
Is it rocket science, not it's not...but to end up with perfectly done headlights, there are some things you can only learn by making mistakes.

Anyone that wants guidance, feel free to PM me and I can share some of my mistakes.

I can't even get one of the calipers apart still lol. And I still need to buy rotors and the custom bracket. I think Im gonna do all that next summer and just wear the brakes out that I have on there now this season lol

I graduate in June so things are kind of going slow for me in regards to the TL. Gotta get that technology degree bruh lol

Cool, the above should work for you then. They come with 3 that are a good size for the front, and 3 that should work on the rear. They're a high quality, thick-cut, 'heat resistant' vinyl. I've had them on my fronts for a few months with no issues.

Jeremy, fantastic car. I remember years ago on s2000.com seeing your pictures of the s2k and have been following your builds (and driving by your house every night ) since. Black beauty was why I got a Tl in the first place. Car looks fantastic and I would love to have that combo myself. Keep up the good work

LMAO...
Yes sir, I'm happy with the functional height, I actually enjoy seeing the entire tire.
Michelin PSS on now...they ride VERY nicely. Most expensive tires I've ever bought.

+29 235/40...no spacers.
