RJSD SSM - Post Surgery
RJSD SSM - Post Surgery
After a new hood, and fender due to a tree branch falling on me
, and a re-painted front bumber (painted correctly this time
). I'm back in BIDNEZZ!!!!!
The front bumper has been prepped and primed correctly this time and looks absolutely sick. They agreed to re-paint it since they had to remove the bumper anyway. You would swear that it came stock with the car. I'm trying to convince them to do the rear as well. keep your fingers crossed.

in the 5th pic, do you have blue/white fog lights or is that just a reflection of the HIDs?

Damn, those shots are MONEY. I think it looks pretty good fopr not being dropped. Maybe they can get that side of the front bumper even more perfect. I've had alot of customer's tell me that they went back into the install after a shop does it, and they spend a few more minutes to get it even better, since it is adjustable.
Looks great Vinny. The RJ bumper looks much better now. They did a way better job painting it this time. Glad to see you got things worked out just in time for the meet! Congrats, I know you're one happy man right now
Big Mike - Ding Ding! I win my prize. As soon as I posted I asked my self...."how long will it be before someone tells me to "drop it". I usually get one or two telling me to drop it. I'm suprised Chris has not chimed in yet. I have not decided on a drop yet.
JP - Thanks. This was a different shop who re-painted it. They are the collision shop for pohanka Acura. They know how to match/paint perfectly. They guy who did the paint has his own SSM and re-painted his stock bumper because of the bad OEM paint match.
The only problem is that they don't do aftermarket work since they cannot guarantee the parts. They only agreed to do the front bumper since they already had it off the car.
I told the service manager that im willing to hand him a nice envelope
if he would agree to re-paint the rear bumper and side skirts. Im still waiting to hear back.
I'm not sure about the meet this weekend, but i'll know more later this week.
CTLGO - I think the black ones are even uglier
Jeff - Fitment on the front of the side skirts is still being tweaked. Rear and front bumper is perfect.
