Talking Rios-TL 2006 AM TL Slow Progress Thread

Whats up everybody. My name is David. I been on this website for a while but never really thought about joining. Well the time has come to join. lol This was my 2nd build RHD Acura Integra.
[IMG][IMG][/IMG][/IMG]
I sold the RHD Integra because I got a kid on the way and it wasnt the best car to put a baby in. I picked up an 2006 ACURA TL( I got an auto so my wife can drive it too.)
It was bone stock. I plan on just doing a slow build with this one. Stance it out and some other little things.
[IMG][/IMG]

Got the 20% tint done all the way around.
[IMG][/IMG]

I left the gym and something bad happened to my TL
[IMG][/IMG]

I got that fixed in about a week. Then i ordered my TIEN lowering springs!!
[IMG][/IMG]

Its not a huge drop but its enough for me. For now. My wife said she will not slow down for speed bumps and pot holes so im kinda nervous to go to low.
[IMG][/IMG]

Decided to Plasti dip the front grill black
[IMG][/IMG]

The finished product!! Im very happy with the front look. Maybe some fogs in the near future.
[IMG][/IMG]

Also DeBadged the rear to give it a cleaner look.
[IMG][/IMG]

Shortly after that I got tired of that look and plasti dipped the stock wheels white and Neo chrome lug nuts.I think it makes it stand out even more.
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]

Now some random shoot I took while I left work last night!!
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][IMG][/IMG][/IMG]

My future plans for the TL
Wheels(XXR 530 white or Chrome black)
Inspire Fog lights
Oem window visor
Maybe paint the roof black.
And some other things

I lol'ed.

You can tell she doesn't give a shit about cars
Going over speed bumps without slowing down and going over pot holes is bad news for any car.

Your car's coming along though!
Any closeups of the lugs?

She drives a truck. But she lets me do as I please with my cars. This TL was suppose to be the family car but that changed hehe. The truck can be the family car. lol

I just left Fort Bragg two momths ago. How long you been there? Maybe you might have seen my car around. I have the same color TL and a TSX. Maybe you seen it before. https://acurazine.com/forums/1g-tsx-photograph-gallery-127/devotion-type-iii-pwp-tsx-847873/

Hopefully we can link up when I get back from the year long Korea tour.

I bounce around between Cary and Lillington. There should be a meet in Charlotte this summer; I'll let you know when it's organized.

Ok after I looked and searched, I do like and want the A-Spec front lip. But not sure what the difference is between the side skirts. Would it look weird if I just got the front lip?

I also have my wheels plasti dipped white but the matte is difficult to keep clean. You add a layer of clear coat to yours? I'll see ya at the meet since I'm in Greensboro

Yeah it is hard to keep clean. I just spray purple power over it when I clean my TL and most of the dirt comes off. And no I didnt use clean coat. If my wife pops the baby out I will go to meets. But if not I got to stay local.

My boy that has a TL is going to buy the springs for $130.

I got bored looking at my TL so I was thinking of something to do until my coilovers and wheels get here. So I came up with this after doing some searching through the website. Here it is.
I did purple cuz my neo chrome lug nuts. I didnt like it to much.

I really didnt like the way it came up but from a distance it doesnt look so bad. Let me know what y'all think.

I was thinking about doing this to mine as I have already done the front grill black.
