Repainted Brembo Brakes

Today was the end of a busy week upgrading my brakes. It started last Sat. when I installed my front rotors and pads with Rotora Slotted and Racingbrake ET300 pads. On Sunday, I painted the rear calipers with black spray paint. On Tuesday, I replaced my rear rotors and pads.

Today I finished painting my front calipers, and I think I did a pretty good job. Sorry, but I only took pics of the front. And excuse the blemishing on the calipers, the clear coat was still alittle wet.

I did the same steps and use the same materials in the link to do my Brembos.

Thanks man! It literally took me all day to do this. Most of it was the waiting between coats. I was alittle scared that the decal would not come out right. But it was fine.

I use Dupli-Color Black Caliper spray. I also used White and Clear Ceramic Engine Enamel for the letters and clear coat. Got everything from Advanced Auto.

Thanks! I forgot to take before pics. Trust me; it was well over due. My original clearcoat and paint was chipping bad. I'm running Racingbrake ET300 pads; so far I love them.

Dang that looks awesome man! Even though I have a 5AT, I need to paint mine black. That nasty silver just doesn't do the car justice

You should try to come to the Charlotte meet on 12/5. I know it's a good drive for you, but it should be an awesome turnout!

Black is a neutral and clean color. It would look great.

Charlotte meet?! I could do that. Looking forward!

Exactly why I'm doing mine black eventually. I don't have a sweet brake set-up, so there is no point in making it a color that stands out if they are stock

There is a thread in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic Regions about the meet. I'm trying to get you VA guys to join up with us NC guys to get a good meet going!

Can you snap a pic of the rear calipers next time you take a wheel off. I am pretty sure my TL-S was supposed to have pained rears, but they are definately not, so I might have to DIY.
