I'm trying to decide between that ^^ or the sound system now that I have a W6 sitting in my room. I think I might do the brakes now to completly finish off the exterior for good ... unless of course ... I get the carbon fiber hood and paint most of it.

Nice wheels ... you may want to paint your calipers red. Black will look good also, but imo the red will stand out (you can't go wrong either way). good job, keep it up.

Is Rotora, Wilwood, and Brembo (not doing Brembo tho) the only good options us 3G TL's have?

Congrats on your win Nick! I can honestly say that pictures do your car no justice. Your car is absolutly stunning in person. for a job well done!

JPTL-S - Crucial Find! I didn't remember to check that out yet today!
special-ed - Thanks! I'll look into it ....
I just got pulled over for the 29th time tonite. I have 3 tickets pending now, 10 points total. 2-2 point tickets and 1-6 point ticket. All for speeding. Does anyone know if I register my car with my Aunt in North Carolina do I still keep the points? ha

because it's you driving, points fall under your file with the DMV for the state you have your license in.

I'd figure it will probably cost you upwards of $4K to retain your license at this point. Nice job on the car though!
The ironic thing about it all .... I'm in the process of becoming a Sheriff now, haha! I'll keep my fingers crossed, but we'll see how that pans out. That should help me in court if I can make this last little hump in the hiring process before the academy starts in July 07.

Ah, er, I don't think there are many 22 year old sheriffs. I assume you mean you are applying to "get a job in the sheriff's department"?

Take my advice and spend the $'s to get a GOOD lawyer. Your going to need it. I still like your car though...

Yeah, I was actually going to be a Sheriff. I coulda been one at age 21. I took the exam for the Sheriff position and actually came out "well qualified." Which got me to the next round of the hiring stage. Unfortuantly, something didn't pass with them so i have to wait till June 08 to apply again. Which I will .. if not for Secret Service. I know 2 guys that work in Secret Service and they are only 2 yrs older than me. I'm nearly 23.

Looks R Hot...great job so far. Makes my wallet keep trying to jump out of my back pocket to do some of your mods on my '05 NBP. But I resist.
Just a note, maybe it's the pics, but in the early pics the intake filter seems
awfully exposed to possibly rain and/or hydrolock. I have my K&N typhoon down in the well like that, but I kept all my original bumper parts on, so it's pretty much blocked from direct rain. Also, K&N supplied a "raincoat" to install over the element. I also don't have the A-spec body parts.
I'm still paranoid, though. Any problems with yours?

Thanks!
I've been through the toughest rain down pours ... plus driven through huge floods, etc. and still no problem. As long as you don't hit v-tec and redline your car during the heavy rain your good.

Zenetti Five Rims 20x8.5 with 40 offset all around.
Nitto 555 Tires 225/35-20 all around.
Eibach Pro Kit Drop 1" all around.
TPMS sensors fit in these wheels as well.
I finally chose my wheels and love them! A lot of pics I know, but what can I say, I always wanted Zenetti rims since I was like 18! (In some of the pics they rims look really flat black ... but in person they are nice and shiny like the paint!
I won 2nd Place In the 'DUB Magazine' car show in Chantilly, VA Aug 14, 2006!

Damn man the car looks sick! I love everything about it. Have you chosen what sub/amp combo you want to run yet? In my TL I have a 12" Alpine Type-R 4 ohm with a JL 500/1 and it bumps. I've been blasting the hell out of the thing for over 2 years now and it still sounds great. I wanted 2 of them, but I didn't want to kill the trunk space. Just an idea of course though. I'm sure you will do something sick
