Xtin - Why ask who I live with and he did everything but the grille.

jmbnova – thanks!

dezzzmond - thanks … sure, we can meet up sometime … the exhaust sounds sweet!

Shayan – thanks … rims should come soon and then I’ll start re-doing the sound system, maybe a carbon fiber hood with the sides painted, etc. etc. etc. This baby isn’t done yet!

Acuracy – thanks … pm me for where I got the HID’s from … it’s not from this site or any group buy. I can’t be done with this after rims … we aren’t even to stage 3 yet!!!

ed99 – thanks man. Pm me for the LED blinker website. Sure, I’ll post pics of it up close when I get the chance later this week (before the weekend probably).

GeraldB – thanks man!
I was thinking of stopping by to see if we could do this hardwire kit but I didnt want to just knock on the door and have someone else answer. I got the answer though

Yeah, I'm glad I'm not ordering the S/C anytime soon because I would be livid if I had to wait more than 3 months to get the damn thing! Thanks for the compliments ... I'll def. keep my thread updated! Let me know if you like the 6,000's ... my bad for not getting back to you after your post but I replied ASAP because as soon as I got home I got online to check my thread, LOL.

Pics For Ed99 who wanted up close pics

It was difficult as hell just to get these pics because so much reflects off the headlights in the pictures ... I guess if I put something behind me so then nothing would cause a reflection it woulda worked better .... but hopefully this is good enough.

Arrow Help !

Hey ya'll ... I'm against the wall about what to do .... please help ASAP. Thx.

I'm getting Zenetti Dueces. They come in 20x8.5 and 20x10 with a 40 offset.

I am pretty much set on 20x8.5 ALL around with a 245/35-20 tire and having to just trim the Aspec kit in the rear a little bit like 'Acuracy' did. BTW: Thanks a lot for the help 'Acuracy' !

BUT, I'm thinking if I get the 20x10 in the back ... then I should go with the 275/30 tires in the rear, correct?

I have a 1" Eibach Spring drop and that's it ... so with that being said ... would the 275/30 tire be safe to go with if I cut and rolled away my fenders?

You do realize that those 20" rims are gonna rob some of your performance dont you? They will look great...but know it will cut your 1/4 time. But that might not even be a concern to you depending on if you race it or not.

Yeah I know ... it's a luxury car with sporty feel in the 1st place ... so it can't really be that quick. I always tell people .. "If I wanted a fast rice rocket .. I coulda have just as easily bought a Evo 8 or STI." ha. I wouldn't mind being part of the dub club, ha.

Still they will look damn good on there...thats for sure!

Ya...I have been looking a lot at Evo's lately. Great autocrossers! I still like being unique though as I am ususally the only TL out there.

Thanks, time will tell. They are on back order now. So pissed ... oh well. I emailed Zenetti ... maybe they can pull some strings for me ... but I doubht it.

A supped up TL is def. more unique than a supped up Evo ... but they serve 2 totally different purposes. One is luxury ... another is practically a race car that's street legal, haha. I like my friends Evo with the leather Recaro seats and a blow off valve.

If you really want the wheels, its worth waiting for. Just a general question: whats the weight difference with Zenetti vs. stock. I was considering these wheels before I got my Ronjon Insypres.

Yeah, I'm thinking about waiting for them ... until then ... I'll look around for other wheels and see what else is out there incase those wheels take months and months to order.

I don't know either weight, but these Konig Rims my rim shop was trying to sell me over instead of the Zenetti ones are 25.3 pounds.

i'll pull one of my rims off later today and find out the weight for you. They do feel pretty light though.

Sucks you gotta wait. Did you try calling my friend to see if he's got 20's in stock?

what's the weight for a stock rim anyway?

By the way everyone ... I went around the net this morning and found a Scion suv, honda accords, and civics with the Konig rims above ... I def. will not be getting those now, lol! I must have gone through 400 pics or more of cars in car shows around the area ... and never once saw Zenetti Rims and especially the Zenetti Dueces like I'm getting!

What do ya'll think about these?

man, that sucks! so by "discounting" are they saying they're not making them anymore?

Wow, I was really tired at work. I meant they are discontinuing them ... as in they aren't making them anymore in black ... so now Special Ed ... you have a hard to get (practically impossible) rims !!

Hmmm ... I guess if I was really pressed ... I could buy the chrome rims ... and then paint them black on those spokes?? But that would cost prolly like $500 dollars, haha. I'll think about that if I can't get any other rims I like ... I could have those Zenetti 5's above next day if I really wanted ... but I'm not sure I like them that much ... I had my heart set on those rims so long ... it's going to be hard to look at another rim. HAHAHAH Sounds like I lost my girlfriend or something, haha!

yeah, the 5's I'm not feeling to much but since your car is black and your getting 20's put on, I think it might look pretty good.

One of the rims I was looking at were these:

yeah, shop around to see how much it would cost to get the deuces powdercoated black. you never know, might not be that bad of a cost and if it's $500 for all 4 wheels, it might be worth it. At least you'll have the set of rims you really want.

I dont' really like all the rivets around the edges of the ones you showed ... thats why I was going to paint even the few number of rivets on the Dueces. Do you happen to know what it would take to turn chrome rims into black rims? Like the process or whatever. It could be nice as if I bought them black, right?

I know I would have to take the chances of it peeling off

Also, it would then have a bright chrome lip instead of the polished lip. Unless I got them to paint that too!

yeah, I was thinking those actually might work out (zen 5's). If you can, try to find a shop that has a 20 in stock and have them line it up to the wheel well of your car. Should give you a good idea of how they might look. If you had the ron jon front bumper with the zenetti 5's in 20's, I think that would look siiiick.

Talking Zenetti Rims Finally In Hand!!!

Zenetti Five Rims 20x8.5 with 40 offset all around.
Nitto 555 Tires 225/35-20 all around.
Eibach Pro Kit Drop 1" all around.
TPMS sensors fit in these wheels as well.

I finally chose my wheels and love them! A lot of pics I know, but what can I say, I always wanted Zenetti rims since I was like 18! (In some of the pics they rims look really flat black ... but in person they are nice and shiny like the paint!

I won 2nd Place In the 'DUB Magazine' car show in Chantilly, VA Aug 14, 2006!

bklynpanman - hahah! Thanks

Acuracy - haha. Thanks to you too! Thanks a lot for helping me with ALL my 1000's of questions. I think we finally got the right rims for my car! I'm very pleased. I ended up using just 225 tires instead of the 245's and I'm so glad I did that because it's cutting it close as hell with even those 225's. I just had to cut the top screw off like you did on the rear aspec kit and there's no rubbing AT ALL now! Thank God. I bet that 5 series looked a little something like this maybe?

yeah, plop on a ron jon front bumper, front bbk, and maybe just some slotted rotors / painted calipers in the back, you'll be winning shows left and right IMO.
