Hey guys wassup. Here are a couple of piks of my 06 TL at this weekends auto show (Streets Extreme Miami). Won 2nd place in the Best Acura category, got a nice trophy. Let me know what you guys think....

I too live in Miami and I have no clue how you won 2nd place. I mean dont get me wrong your car is beautiful but not 2nd place material. I went to last years import extreme show and i had an RSX with over 40 grand in goodies( i mean everything from a turbo kit to TV's) AND i still didnt even place in the show. Some acura integra with a crazy ass paint job won. One of the most expensive paint jobs ive seen over 10grand in paint . If I can find the pic i will post but that was a while ago.

car shows are all about creative ideas and being different than other cars.
having an oem bodykit doesn't even put you in any place.
anyone can put rims on their ride, you can even borrow rims to enter shows.

my point is you gotta have something at least custom made to win something.
my old accord had lots of custom mods from top to bottom and I didn't even come close to winning any trophy.....

basically the more money you spend on your car, the more chances you'll win something.

don't get me wrong, that's one clean TL, I can see that on the streets here any day.

Thanks for putting me down. Actually there were 4 Acuras and the Acura that one first was an RSX with a turbo kit, tv's and all the goodies. This is actually my first car show and i was really excited about winning. My car has the A-spec kit, lower custom mesh grill, and 20x10 rear with a 4" lip and 20x8.5 front with 2" lip. next show ill have some more goodies to shut u peoples faces... Thanks for the negavtive feedback....

Damn guys, some shows it's the judges that suck and maybe at this show the judges werent used to seeing a hooked up TL. Instead of bashing you should of said congrats..

Thanks for the support man... being 18 yrs old being able to afford this car with my "few" mods means a lot to me. Shit i work my ass off for this car. Soon ill have some more show mods, because im not into the racing scene.

it was at the fair and expo center. The ads were all over power 96 and 99 jams...

I wasn't giving you any negative feedback. Feel free to spend more money on your TL, that has nothing to do with me or any other people. If you just want people to tell you this quote "WHOA! nice ride!!!" for the money you've spent. You've got it all wrong.

Modding your car is for yourself and yourself only, no need to prove it to other people nor satisfing them. As long as you like the way your car look, that's what it counts.

Not everybody will like your or my car, but I hope you don't get influenced by the people who enters show for that "quote" reason. It's not worth it. You don't need to put more goodies to shut others faces down. I am telling you from experiences.

Keep up the modding, you have a clean TL. Mod it with your own taste. Don't do it for the people.

congrats. first show coming out with a win i would say is impressive.......regardless of mods. i remember when i start showing 2 years ago......my first time i placed it fealt awesome......dont even listen to the negative feedback....

I got the kit about a week after the car. I drove the car off the lot and the lip kit had not arrived at the dealer but the car did, so i had to take it back a week later to install the kit?

they did until i rolled the fenders, now its all good no rubbing at all. just go with a 265 tire instead of teh 275 there going to recommend
