never seen that color, or should i say that shade if red on a tl. Upper grill piece that's on teh hood is also red so maybe the car was resprayed

Although it does look nice i red, it's definitely not an OEM color. The only red Acura puts on the TL is the Redondo Red Pearl i believe, which is a much darker red.

 

i'd figure out why it was painted...

Anyways nice color, definately one of a kind for a TL, does make you wonder why they repainted it though hopefully it was just for fun and not because it was in a serious wreck.

 

I had a Chrysler Sebring that was Fire Engine red-just like that. Loved the color!

 

That is HOT on a TL. Nice find, as long as it passes a thorough independent inspection.

^^^^Not only is his front plate a mosaic but the entire city behind him is also a mosaic. That and this never before seen color....maybe this guy is from a parallel galaxy

Regardless of the color still a tl and yur gunna be the only one pullin up in a red colored tl in tht shade.. Yu can do alot of smoking to tht car cause of color like the type s side marks and smoked out tail lights and type s rims painted black dropped a inch or two.. Car has potential goodlooks bro...

Aha, I'm coming from a 95 Integra GSR Sedan so I'm a little paranoid about theft.. since on a top 10 list of stolen cars, Integra filled in 7 spots.. Maybe I don't need to be as paranoid with this car.

Car's got a clean title, so seems like the prev. owner did it to be different.

Unfortunately the bay isn't painted but everything else is... jams, etc. Orig color was white, I'm still very happy with the paint job.

So far I've been very happy with this car. Only problems I've had are minor.

CD player was jamming - dealer fixed with new faceplate at their cost
Intake hose has a small tear - already ordered my Injen CAI
and the tabs on my battery cover are broken - anyone got a spare?

Future plans are A-spec front (don't care too much for the looks of the rear - sorry if this offends anyone lol) - exhaust - and wheeels.

I'll try to get more pics up soon!

Well, you gotta find out what the color name of the car is, or even better find out the paint code, cuz you will HAVE to get it custom painted. As it isnt a stock color.

GL with getting the paint code. OR if theres a good paint shop or body shop in your town, they have this tool (kinda like a paint depth reader) but it reads the color of the paint and they can try match it. Just something to look forward too when getting your front lip.

oh and since you dont like the 04-06 rear lip, i suggest getting the 07-08 type S rear with quad mufflers, IMO thats the BEST looking rear lip out of the WHOLE 2 options we have.

In other words, PLEASE complete the kit. Just the front lip will look akward.

Nicely done...great car.
About the battery cover tabs...might I suggest you let this slide...only because I've managed to break ALL my tabs on my engine covers and I was being careful...the covers to not move though once locked into place even without them!

About the Aspec...should look great on this car. Very nice custom color. Please post more pics...very curious to see what a red TL looks like. For touch up I think there's a civic red (milano?) that might match up pretty well. I would love to see pics of the engine bay and how they pulled it off.

Yeah I think everyone I know the tabs are busted on their battery covers lol, those things are shit, but yeah like rockstar said if you just let it sit there it won't move.
