unfortunately i didn't take any pics. Got a buddy to drive me up there and left my phone in the car.. Kinda kicking myself in the ass as I wanted to get a few pics just to track the progress
They found a crack in my front bumper, the guy showed me and we were both like WTF how did we not see that during the initial inspection So he plastic welded it for me for free. Great guy

well got a call from the body shop and they said they lost the heat to the paint booth. they bake the paint on and it takes like 20-30min to dry so they have the natural gas company there trying to fix the booth.
Im about ready to just poke my eyeballs out. The shop does showroom quality work but I paid them cold hard cash and I feel like its just taking too long but I didn't want them to rush the work either.. FML

supposedly when body shops bake your paint, you can wash and wax it immediately
just wait a while before buffing
that's what my body shop said

so the body shop is really starting to piss me off!! While I understand there is a lot of work being done i still don't have it back today. Looking like tomorrow, he said he had to respray the front bumper because he scratched it putting it back on??
While that is possible I doubt that happened and he's just making excuses to buy time.

That sucks bro, but just remember the wait will be worth it!
It's definitely possible they could have chipped the paint or scratched it on install. If the paint hasn't fully set before they're doing the install it's actually really easy to scratch or chip.
I'm sure they're eager to get the car back to you, they just want to make sure it's perfect!
Or they're slackers and have just been hanging out, drinking beer and watching hockey this whole time lol..

+1...let them take their time and not rush it...more bad can happen that way....as long as you get the car back EXACTLY how you want it, I say its well worth the wait!

you guys are right! I'm just getting really anxious and I'm sure they are getting anxious to get it back to me.
Im really picky when it comes to my car and they know that so they prob don't want me to blow a fuse up there if something isn't correct

Sorry to hear, man.
Just hope the wait is worth it in the end
You'll have a brand new looking car.

is the fogging up of the newly installed headlights normal? we all know bruce does top quality work so I'm not really suspecting any issue in that regard. . He said its just trapped air and that the silica packs need time to absorb the air, I had the lights on and all it did was heat up the air causing the condensation....
nOW that I think about it, it was super humid yesterday and it rained a lot and its like 30 celsius here today so could be just air trapped inside the system.. Bruce said to give it a few days and that its normal

i like red calipers but I wasn't a fan of the stock tails. I thought id like the black tail look but it didn't turn out how I thought it would. The custom tails are so sick though I'm pumped to get those put in , i think they're going to look great..
Wait till you see the headlights! lol

Nothing much you can do but take the man's words and give it a few days.
If it doesn't improve by then, you can decide what you want done.

yes, those headlight to tend to fog up because of air trapped inside em...
I had the same issue and Bruce helped me with em...he asked me to take the fog bulb out and leave it that way for a day or so...once the fogging clears up, put the bulb back in and you should be good to go

Sorry to hear about your headlights, hopefully you'll get it straightened out. But that's why I'm hesitant to pull the trigger on clearing the headlights. Even if its done professionally, inevitably they will fog at some point and I just don't want the headache. The amber doesn't bother me that much either...the Type S tails are a nice balance.

well here is the bad condensation. in the 3rd pic it appears that the seal is indeed broken, please correct me if i wrong.
Going to the shop tmro, they are going to remove them, bake them, clean the inside of the lens as there are some water marks on the lens and re seal them for me
broken seal??!!
