Congrats dude Its going to look damn awesome
My appointment with the detailer ended up getting shifted over all the way to June, so I'll have to wait a little longer to have my paint back to showroom level

well I'm all about getting things done properly. sure I could get the entire car painted for prob 2-3k but it would not be up to my standards..
most shops around here will just mask stuff off and leave crazy amounts of overspray, poor prep job, orange peel etc..
my guys will be taking everything apart and do it properly.

love RBP!
I know a shop run by a guy that does amazing paint work for a good price, and he wanted to just mask off the whole rear license plate area when I got my trunk face painted.
I ended up removing it in 30 seconds after I arrived to the body shop before I left the car with them.
I paid $300 for them to cut out the entire rear quarter panel lip, weld in new metal lip, bondo any dents in rear quarter panel, and paint the entire rear quarter panel. I also asked him to paint my trunk face (to fix bad paint job done in 2010), which cost $100.
This was taken in 2011.
I got it fixed in summer 2014... you can imagine how much worse it got...
I'm sure you know what my car looks like now

What coil setup are you planning on? I've been trying to save up for the Tein street advance coilovers but it seems like every week I just get further from my goal lol I'm actually on fence about just settling for springs now :-/

I'm going to get TEIN SA with skunk 2 front camber kit with the spc rear camber hopefully sooner than later
And yea man I hear ya about getting further from your goal, its tough but just keep on plugging away at it. If your car has high mileage you'll prob want to just go with coils but if its barely been driving springs will do!
My paint is so mangled that I really had to do that first bczuz i can't even bear to look at it, it digusts me lol..
Do you think I should cf vinyl wrap my grill?? The headlights will have cf corner thats all I'm gonna say for now

I love CF grill, but I'm biased.
My car doesn't look the same without it.

I like the idea of the CF grille, I would only wrap that inner section (where it's normally that faded gray color) and leave that center section and the outlining trim normal. I think having the difference is important. I've seen a lot of all black grille's and I think it takes away from the TL's style.

I'm planning on doing those silver center console trim pieces in CF too. Let me know how that goes if you beat me to it lol.

centre console pieces, steering wheel pieces, inside door handles, and each door has a silver trim piece as well. may do the rear view mirror too just for the heck of it

I was messing with this idea over the weekend, adding these to the fog covers below the original inserts. I'll take a test-fit pic when I get home so you can see what you think..
