It's the front fender transition...that's the tire slicer...grind that flat and you can leave it as is...if only 1/4" did that, imagine if you are turning and hit a bump in the road and compress the suspension.
Go lower, they said...it'll be fine, they said.
I tried to warn you...it's a sickness but you can walk away from it whenever you want!
Go extended studs so you can fux with any size slip on spacer you want...15 or 20 was super ambitious if you aren't willing to do 225.
Yea man your right about where it transitions, I could see right away that was going to be a issue. I already had the fenders rolled in the front and had that tab shaved or whatever. But yea that 23.5 - 23.75 life in the front just wasn't meant to be with 235's on a 9 inch wheel with +30 lol.
How did u find the 225 tires?
Ill add that STi lip in the front and that'll satisfy my needs I think as it creates a slammed illusion
Im going to post up some pics when we are finished with it

can anyone with Tein Flex chime in on how the ride is? I have mine set at 4 clicks from stiff and they still feel really bouncy. The streets around here are very bad but I still dont think it should feel that bouncy?
Feels as if there is a lot of pointless travel. Ive never had coils before in any car so it could be just the nature of them, not sure but I'm curious as to what y'all think
Also I've only put maybe 2k miles on them so fat so I would have a hard time believing that they are blown out lol
I'm going to do 225s in the front and slam it to the floor lol. the rear with 235s and my 20mm spacers look and had no clearance issues at all in the rear
hmm interesting. Is that accessible by making car up removing wheel and fender liner? The issue is on the passenger side. I know there is a huge grounding location there where the cold air intake sits mounts to

do yours feel kind of bouncy a little dave? could just be me but I like a stiff ride
I have my dampers at 4 from stiff
yea they are slightly underdamped. they should be more stiff than they are now, it bothered me for a while but now i'm over it haha. i run mine at 4 and 6 when on my comfy setting, then bump it to 0/0 or 0/2 when i want to drive more spirited (thanks to edfc!).
thought about swift springs for a little bit but in the end it won't have a huge impact and i didn't want to go through the annoying install again haha. i feel having the rear 2 clicks softer greatly improves the ride comfort while minimizing performance loss
looking back, BC would have been a better option for the overall better ride (less bounce), but the EDFC is worth a slightly underdamped shock!!
good to know. so you go full stiff on these bastards sometimes eh? i was scared to do that but ill try it out sometime. I leave my rear seat out and it takes like 2 min to get the strut bar off so i can change the settings quick when I want to go out for a rip.
the roads around here are pretty rough as well so thats prob go something to do with my concern/inquiry too but on the highway or newer roads they feel awesome
yea full stiff isn't as bad as you think it would be haha. sometimes i come up on known "fun spots" and i have my 0/0 setting right next to my 4/6 setting so just one click and i'm good to go!
they are a little bouncy at times but i'd say 90% of the time i'm perfectly happy with them!
