New Summer Setup for the TL

Unlike many other car enthusiasts, I am not too keen on changing rims that often. So far the TL has gone for only 4 rim changes and I believe this will be my last setup for the TL. Got the a-spec wheels from a member here, (18x8.5). Got them in gunmetal during the winter and I can't express how pleased I am. But the tires were the hardest thing to pick.

Got them mounted up day before yesterday. Drove 80km back and forth and damn the grip comes out in no time. Today there has been thunderstorms here and the roads are mighty wet, so it has been great to test them on the wet as well.

The tires are Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sports (245/40/18), got one size wider since I need maximum wheel protection. Its buttery smooth on any road surface, even if I hit the potholes, it doesn't recognize the bumps that much even though my car is lowered on Tein Basics. Road noise is very minimal, other tires I was shopping for were the track-focused Dunlop Direzza star specs and the Continental Extreme DW. Went for these as I wanted a quiet yet more subtle ride than usual. Haven't had time to clean up the car yet, but I do hope you guys like the pictures.

pretty expensive here in Canada, 1000$ with taxes in, but there is a $75 dollar rebate. So $925, should be at least 200 dollars cheaper in the states.

Nicely done. I'm running a very similar setup on the tire/wheel combo; been very happy with my RE760's.

yeah because of winter, will drop quite a bit more but quite often I do drive down to the states with 4 passengers, so I won't be going for a slammed look, just an inch or two all around should be fine.
