I'm assuming that the 1/2 tints you're referring to is the top half of the headlight blocked off? if so adding a strip to the bottom would look pretty odd. I went to the local sign shop looking for some black vinyl to use but it was too hard to follow the lines since it didn't stretch right, so the guy gave me some black that stretches much like electrical tape. I used it and followed the top and bottom lines on the housing for guides, folded it around the edges and trimmed the rest. and much to my surprise it looks decent, and it doesn't let let light bleed through either. I did it like this to see if would look good enough to color match with paint, but this is actually sufficient. thx for the comments

steven-- sounds neat, ill have to check it out. I'll post up a detail pic of mine soon so you can see it close.
TREW-- that is "trew" about bracketing. I was just introduced to the HDR realm about a month ago, so im still in the experimental phase. I shoot with a Canon 40D and have a variety of lenses, these were all shot with a sigma 10-20mm. FOr my production work I use PS CS4, and for the HDRs I use Photomatix pro 3.1.
and as always, thx for the comments!
