New lips, hardware, and fresh powder coat
I've been trying to relip my aldstadt type 1's for awhile now and finally got the funds and time to do it. Here's how they use to look like on my car

Then after taking them apart

After powder coating
Went with Bengal blue, probably should've just went with a more subtle color but I can change it later I guess

Went with 5.5" inner and 4.5" outer for fronts and 6" inner 6" outers for rears
This is a pic of what the rears will look like. Using gold hardware and got some gold lug nuts as well.

I think I will start trying to put it together this week. Hopefully I will be able to fit.

With the brass screws in the wheels, the color looks pretty good.

I want to see these wheels on the car.

picked it up from the black market awhile back. I forgot who i got it from though. It was about 3 years ago. He sold me the atlp roof spoiler and the trunk spoiler.
Just finished putting the wheels together and sealing them up. Now need to wait for the seal to fully dry and get them mounted.

Looks like its gonna be a fail on my part. Here's a quick snapshot if rear with my camber maxed out.

But it does look pretty good

Weighing out my options now. Should I just get a smaller inner for rear, wide body, or just sell them?
I do have my old barrels and a set of maya barrels that would work but they are welded together and may not match the other fronts

Holy poke Batman! I had a feeling that was going to be too crazy for a TL to handle. Wheels look nice, just too damn wide.
Good luck with whatever you end up doing though! Maybe sell em to someone with a G37?

Poke is way too much. I think you have 3 options.
1) If you love the wheels and want to keep them, get 4.5" outter barrels for the rears and a 4.0" outter barrel for the fronts. Take the wheels apart and assemble them yourself. It's not hard to do, it just takes a lot of time and patience to have it done correctly.
I think your current setup of 19x10 and 19x12 is just too much on a stock body TL.
2) Do a widebody on your TL to run your current wheel specs.
3) If you have mixed feelings about the wheels, then sell them.
Getting some smaller inner barrels isn't going to help with the poke. You need to get smaller outter barrels. I know this sucks because the lip is going to be smaller.
Don't waste money on getting smaller inner barrels. my

Well I found some guys that would make fender flares in West Covina, CA but they need my car or a 3G TL there to make the flares. I'D be willing to compensate anyone in that area that would like to help me out. other option would be to find a body shop around here that would do it.
