Looking for opinions on this before I ruin my tails. I quickly chopped this and threw it up. The finish product will have the OEM 3-stage WDP paint. I'm looking for your opinions on how this looks on MY car (not your car).

I'm trying everything possible to prevent blacking out my tails. Please be constructive with your criticism. Your input is valuable to me.

I agree not really feeling them, I'd say like said above clear those out from the inside and would look alot better.

 

I'm not a fan. I'm trying to think of something more helpful and constructive to say than that. I think it looks... cheap? I dunno. It reminds me of the plastic blackout stick-on covers Mustang guys put on their cars.

I vote "ghost" tails. I love that look.

Not feeling it also. Honestly 07-08 Base tails are sexy, if u want to custom it smoke the white part.

my next tail light project is going to be blacking out the red panels inside the 07-08 base tail, instead of just tinting out the red externally how I have them now.

 

get some base tails and your set...

Base 07-08 lights are only sexy on the WDP and SSM, ASM... but other than that.. I pass...

I have a base 07, when i had the base lights and pressed the brakes.... it was telling people.... "I am part of the breast cancer foundation"......talk about pink galore.

Some how they look good on WDP.... honestly they look good until you press the brakes in broad day light.

Back when car was stock to the bone.. minus the type-s deck lip.
