My new BODY mod... for the 3G

At 10pm last night I heard a loud bang... Go out to my pitch black garage to find that apparently a ghost was pissed and threw an aluminum 10lb (give or take) ladder up against my car! Makes no sense bcuz this ladder was leaning the opposite direction against the garage wall for months un touched yet somehow on it's own decided to lean on it's other side!! Now I have a new free body modification. I may just do the pass side to match!!!

Glad a good friend of mine owns his own body shop and been doing body work for 15+ yrs!

PDR people may be able to take that out ... ask them before you look at repaint and a possible color mismatch.

That really sucks. But on the bright side, your car looks really clean!

Nice mods BTW.

The one time I decided to park outside the garage, my dad's aluminum realtor sign decided to fall over. If I had parked there I would have gotten a nice deep yellow scratch down my door. So lucky.

So just got done at the PDR place.. owner said IF they can get them out which he isnt sure because they are creased dents it would def be an all day job and $600!! Not even sure he can get them out plus if they can get their tools in those locations. He recommended a body shop.. so next to take to my buddys body shop!

Not even. That is one of the easiest things they can do. Seen them do it all the time.

Friend got one out of my Z that was on the body line, and he didn't have a problem with that.

PDR is the way to go for those two dents.

Aluminum ladder? Yours must mean a Steel ladder with an aluminum coating! I cant comprehend how just the weight of the ladder did that but i will certainly be doing a walkaround in my garage to make sure everything is secured. Was your garage open? Any chance someone came in and slammed the ladder against the car and hauled ass? Man youve got me worried! lol

Yes sir... it weighs like 10lbs maybe a lil more? Garage door was shut.. Not ONE person i have told this to can believe the ladder was able to go from leaning up against the wall to flying backwards into the car. So its either a ghost or karma (Since im by all means not perfect and have made mistakes in life)

It was probably a rat/mouse/raccoon/some kind of livestock. I could see if it was kind of not exactly positioned best that if something jumped off of it that it could fall over.

Most garages have mice....believe it or not. You just usually dont see em if you keep your garage clean. But its fairly easy for em to get in at the garage door. The key it not attracting them in there...ie...birdseed, ect. But nonetheless...may have been looking for munchies.
