My first post and my first pic, all at once...
Hey all! I've been nosing around the forums for a bit now, and recently became the owner of my own 3GTL, so I thought it was finally time to become a man/post for the first time in this forum.
What better way to kick it off than with some photos...well...photo. Here's my new love:
I'm simply amazed at how amazing this car is, especially for the price. I think this is the beginning of a beautiful relationship

Thanks for the warm welcome guys, I didn't expect to see so many replies when I woke up this morning! I came over from the Probetalk forums; once the Probe GT hit the 200k mark, it was time to move on to greener pastures. Here's some more pictures, from the dealer I bought it from:
That last one is the closest of the center caps that I have right now. I realize the quality kind of sucks, but these will have to do until I can get her cleaned up and get more photos taken. The night I picked her up was the first night of three days of rain here

I love the stock look also. I made some minor mods but in general want to keep it looking stock. See in my thread here: https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-photograph-gallery-96/finally-nice-day-out-695738/ I like the Chrome door handle inlay trim, and white lighting. I hate how the lights (exterior) are yellowish, in the process of changing them out. I also got Caramel mats and I think those look better with the Parchment interior.

Nice car! Welcome to the forum.
Don't mind some of these guys, they can't help but be retarded. Their lives revolve around this website and they sometimes need some drama to balance their otherwise boring lives.

The reason I wanted to see up close pics of the center caps is because it's not the standard black outline one. Looks like it has chrome outline, could be from some sparkle silver center caps from A-spec wheels.

I'm trying to decide if I want to do an A-spec kit, but I'm more seriously considering acquiring a set of Type-S tails. I think they'd go well with the ABP. I'll search around, but does anyone have some shots of an ABP with those tails?

poor quality eh? i'm assuming you're talking about the wheels my friend - the silver you have on the center caps are in fact STICKERS. i used to have a pair on my stockies, but that was way back when modding, for me, was some what new. check it out...

Gotska81- congrats man!- That is one of my fav color combos, and I really believe the spoiler adds so much to the appearance, so sharp! I would agree with all who suggested the A-SPEC kit, it would look really hot

@ABP04_TL - Thanks for the pictures! I'm definitely sold on the tails. Do they bolt right up? I'm also getting more and more into the look of the A-Spec kit...

Time to bring this thread back to life:
I'm a wimp, so I'm starting off easy for my first "mods"...ie. I removed that damn license plate mount on the front of my car. I didn't realize that those little caps should have come with the car, so I have to order those. I think I'll order those at the same time I order my A-Spec front lip...
A few days later I came upon this:
(I know, it's blurry. I hate my shakey hands. Gotta stop smokin that crack.)
I got a slight discount because it was an open box, but none of the internal boxes were opened. Plus the guy from the car audio department assured me that it was returnable like a new one if it didn't work. I love my iPod, I love my TL...what could be better than the two of them together?
Install tomorrow (hopefully), pics will follow.
Next up: A-spec front lip and hopefully I won't bust a cap...
