Nice, clean WDP Guru. Do you have any mods planned?

Hmmm... I'm thinking about tinted windows, change interior LEDs, k&n filter/intake, painting the front bumper logo, color match the front grill, new brakes (or something to help with the brake dust), nothing too major. I also love the stock rims already too.

I don't like the body kits or dropping the suspension because then my clearance is too low, and with the speed bumps and curbs around here...

What's a tinted license plate? ...and I like chrome door handle inlays... do you have pics of your TL?

Tints makes such a huge difference. IMO the best few hundred you can spend. Have fun with your TL!

so true. tints or an intake should be number 1 on any car, imo.

ChairGuru,

I am SOOO sorry I haven't replied earlier to your request. Yes, I've got pictures for you.

Here's a picture of my LED interior-I just had it done last week. The picture is not great, but the picture below is courtesy of Rockyfeller's thread on this. I did both the front and the back with LED's.

Here's a picture of the 20% tints:

Here is the tinted license plate cover.

Here is the Chrome inlay for the door handles. They're subtle, but classy looking.

Here's a color coded roof spoiler-this really finishes off the look of the rear of the car, I think.

Here is a picture of my Momo Shifter...

Dead Pedals are very popular too...

I've got pictures of the Carbon Fiber interior trim if you'd like to see them. When people post them, it always causes alot of controversy. You can see part of the Carbon Fiber in the Momo Shifter picture. So just let me know. I hope you like the pictures above. My mods are more for looks, not performance obviously.

I like the door handle chrome inlays, roof spoiler, and trunk spoiler. Are those put on with double side tape? where did you get those?

I also like the carbon fiber trim and would like to change out my dark wood trim. There's a lot of it on the center console and doors so its a lot to change and I'm holding off. The wood isnt bad though, carbon fiber just looks more modern and sleek.

Yes they are-two sided tape works fine on them. If you get the Carbon Fiber interior kit, it just goes right over your wood pieces. There's no need to take the wood off first.

Here's some more Carbon Fiber shots:

hmmm, that's a little too much carbon fiber for my tastes...

anyway, I tried changing my license plate lights to a white light and the bulbs I got are still yellowish. I will have to get different ones, LEDs maybe. any suggestions as to which ones?

While I was at that, I removed the weight on the trunk lid and now it opens up a lot more than it used to. The weight is about 2-3 lbs and I guess it's meant as a vibration dampener or something.

I also tried to change the DRLs but gave up since it's too hard to see what you are doing since the lights are behind so many things. I will try again another time.

I just ordered a bunch of stuff from eBay so a couple more updates are to come.

- OEM All-Season Mats in Parchment
- V-LED White HID LEDs for License Plate
- Chrome Door Handle Inlays
- Nokya Arctic White 9005 DRLs
- Nokya Arctic White H8 Fogs
- Acura OEM Touch-Up Paint Pen (for those emergencies)

Here are a few updates I made recently:

Chrome Door Handle Inlay Trim

I think it looks real nice and has a nice feel to it. Build quality is also very good. Easy to install.

White LED License Plate
V-LED

Left is LED, Right is stock bulb. Notice the white vs. yellow color.

Night shot.

They are very bright and it's a very simple swap of the bulb. No messing with electrical.

While I was changing the LEDs and the felt was off, I took off the trunk lid weight (below). It's about 2-3 lbs and it helps a little bit when opening the trunk.

I also put in Caramel OEM All-Season Mats and those are awesome. Matches the rest of the interior and fits nicely.

Nice little additions. What led bulb did you put in there? I tried to put the 11 led SMT in there but not enough room so I used the 9 led bulb instead. Did you remove the trunk liner to install the bulbs? I removed the clips and pulled back on it to give me access to the lights. Saves time. haha

Hmm didn't know about the weight. Where is the trunk lid weight located?

I have a V-LED 5 led bulb seen here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250321885038&sspagenam e=STRK%3AMEWNX%3AIT&viewitem=
Works really well, very bright. There's the cathode mod I keep reading about but this is just as good it seems. Hopefully the durability is there, if not, it's an easy swap.

I removed the entire felt liner since I wanted room to work with (you don't really need to take the whole thing off though). The weight is in the center-bottom of the trunk lid closest to rear window and bolted on. You will probably need to remove the liner to do this.

Where you at??

From your pics, looks like Bucks County -- maybe Chalfont or Jamison.

Looking for local others to share mod ideas, help with installs, and form group buys...

Who did your tint?

let me know... alan(at)gochin(dot)com
