Moar Low

Thought I'd post up some pics of my car with the drop and new wheels, the car came out better than I could have hoped and only ran into a couple issues that held things up a little. Let me know what you guys think. Pictures are a little crappy but I only had my iPhone at the time.

Yes sir! They don't make the Type-S for our colors anymore so you have to get the base

How did you fit the base lip on to the Type-S bumper? Cause I have a Type-S and a base lip and it don't fit.

Not exactly sure what the offset is, but I do know I still had problems clearing the front brembo's and had to put on like 3mm spacers

So it fits without any modifications to the bumper or the lip? Just want to make sure before I take it to a body shop. Thanks

BTW, car looks sick...

You'll have to mod the area around the fog lights to make it fit properly.

Nice wheels. Post some higher quality day time pics so we can get a better look at them.

As Trance said it will need some modding around the fog lights, if you really want to get picky you could do some modding in the front around the grill area, I didn't and it doesn't bother me it just doesn't fit as snug as say the type s lip would. Also, on the sides in the middle it pops out right now because it's such a tight fit and the double sided tape sucks

The front is set at 6 and the rear is set at 8. We got to meet up one of these days, I'd love to check out your ride in person!

What wheels did you get? I really like that style and I'm in between on a lot of rims. I have my eyes set on Forgestar's F14s but I also like that style you have.

you going to either one of the meets at the end of the month? 4/22 cars for a cure in fairfax VA...grab some PA guys and lets head down.

4/29 college park meet at bowie stadium. i'll be at both meets.

let me know if you PA guys are having any meets as well, i'd make the drive if it wasn't more than an hour or so away.

Hey Rain, car looks great. I'm real close to pulling the trigger on the A-spec lip kit with base front, but want to be sure about it before I order.

Can it be installed on a Type-S with no modification at all? or does it require a little modding around the fog light? I know that with no modification at all it wouldn't line up quite perfect, but from my understanding I can still install it. Is this correct? I think yours looks great, so if that is unmodified I think I'm about to place my order.

It can be installed without any modification around the fogs but I don't think you'll be happy with that, I'd hate to see you put it on and would have wished you did the modding around the fogs so I'd just do that in advance. Also mine currently pops out on the sides in the middle because its such a tight fit and shitty double sided tape, I want to wait until it warms up again so I can mold it better with more tape. It's definitely worth it even if it does require some modding

I like them so far, haven't really driven the car hard yet or in the rain, they seem to have a decent amount of road noise however

Eric,
the wheels R nice! the rears look more concave than the fronts.

Now you need to get Ingalls front and rear adjustable camber kits.
get your alignment checked.
moar low = -camber
I searched U tube to install the fronts. Found a video, how to remove and install the front ball joints. C clap loaner tool from Autozone. I can help U if needed.

Correct me if I'm wrong, shouldn't the front damper by higher than the rear. it has to support your V6. At least it's easy to adjust the fronts
