PS - why does the grass always seem greener. Have these, want those. Get those, wants these back. F*ck!

So this happened yesterday......

which then led to this happening......

It even led to me thinking about doing this......

Sooooo, i went to my local tire place and they said the screw puncture is too far off to the side where it cant be patched. As you can see the tires are in great shape so i didnt want to just discard them for new tires....nor am i going to run one different from the rest so i got online and found just the one that was messed up and it should be on its way this week.

Not gonna lie, felt good for a minute to have the Aspecs on there but its really, really tough to beat how those 19s look on there. Here as side by side.

So while the wheels are off we can resolve this confusion we had when i first got them about the wheels specs. Here some pics of the 2 different wheels and how the tires fit on them.

Fronts

Rears

Again, i considered for about 90 sec the idea of selling the wheels but then i was like damn those Avant Garde wheels look so f*cking sick on there. That momentary lapse in judgement quickly disappeared.

Feel like taking the down time with the wheels off to give them some love like touching up the little nicks here and there. Might even do the moar low you guys always talk about for a while just for the hell of it. Anyways, that my thread update.

PS---Adam lets get together for some of your pro pics already!!

Also, get some wheel wax while they're off...makes them shinier and easier to clean!
Looking great, like you said...can't go wrong either way.

So i just ran into this pic i took on a day outdoors with wifey. I think the truck looks pretty badass in this pic (wifey is not bad either, haha). Wheels look pretty big and all geared up it highlights Ridgeline sporty looks. Of course these trucks aren't made for heavy duty work, but they are really great for home improvement, active outdoors, DIY kind of stuff.

This was before my $80 Walmart special bike was stolen (long story). Once it was gone i decided to get something a little better. Saw plenty of $1-2k+ bikes i would have loved to buy but i started at $200 and maxed out at $400. ANyways I got one of these (Trek 820) after testing several recommended bikes. This one just seemed to fit better and more comfortable. I hope it ends up being much better than the $80 Walmart special.

PS - Here a pic of my Ridgeline next to a buddy of mine's Ridgeline for those limited few who like the looks of this funky, weird shaped truck.

I like the ridgeline. Esp the trunk it has and the fact that it doesn't ride like a typical truck.

Your car is nice, my friend. Either wheels look great... But I think I like the Aspecs better. They must ride a whole lot nicer too

Father in Law had a Ridge, I absolutely loved driving it. Drove like a damn accord with big bawls and ability to drive over stuff. Can't be beat...AND it's still Honda! Fk yes.

+1 on hot wife...now I know why you got mad at my joke. I take it back.

+1 on great job done with the trek, man...at your budget, you really can't go wrong with a quality, LBS bought bike with good enough components for what you do. It'll be night and day difference from the Walmart special.

Looking forward to seeing your rolling shots with Adam...he is truly an Artiste and those 19's will look fantastic on the NBP.

Yeah , i cant complain about wifey or the truck. Actually only thing about the truck i wish were better is more power. It has no balls, which would be fine if it didnt suck the gas liek a V8. I've got the mpg of a V8 without the balls. Only gripe about the truck. BUT, its still a Honda and there aren't 10 million of them out there. Much less modded like mine.

I'm hoping the bike decision ends up well. I've never had a bike this "expensive". Is it a bit much if i carry the .380 in my pouch when i ride it around unknown areas. Haha.

...yes...
unless you were riding around and also protecting me and my bike

Seriously though...that was the problem I had with my Nissan Frontier...so slow and under damn powered that the mileage sucked. Hurt my stomach from stress driving it.

Thx

The ride and the trunk are key features. Honestly once you've used it, the trunk alone is a big factor in the decision for this trunk. Other wise with a truck what do you do when you have stuff (groceries, gym bag, etc, etc) that you need to store? Back seat/floor?..how about your passengers...not to mention wanting to keep it looking clean and organized. In the truck bed??....not unless you buy an expensive, secure bed cover but then it can dance all around the bed unless you tie it down......what happens when you want to carry bikes or move a fridge, then what?

The trunk is a HUGE feature.

Ride like a SUV.....big feature.

All of this in a Honda.......nuff said.

Obviously i highly recommend it.

Be sure to post up your review on the bike once you put some miles on it. One of my next purchases will be either a bike or paddleboard. I just need to decide which I'll use more.

one of my biggest fears of buying a larger vehicle is the time it takes to clean it....I take my own damn sweet time when it comes to cleaning/detailing....

for a truck (specially crew cab), or an SUV or a minivan, its gonna take for ever ever ever to clean it....props to you mah man....

It does take longer. I use a type of broom that i got at the auto parts store to wash it which makes it much faster but it def still is longer than the TL. Waxing it is a whole other story....no short cuts for that, which is why i have only waxed it once in the 2 years ive owned it.

it's bigger, but I like that you don't have to bend down to wash and wax the entire sides. Plus, it's a truck so no trunk and a whole lot of space that just needs to be hosed down.

Yeah, you can fit at least one body in there. Not really up to snuff for a Soprano, but i'll make due. Haha.

By the way, I dont mean to be redundant here but damn you gotta admit that looks nice for just adding cheap wheels and some darkass tint.
