LS 460 Muffler Tip Mod Pics!!!

I finally got around to getting this mod done and now the pics are here!!! I am not the 1st with this mod (rodneyc77) but i am very happy with the results even though being only on a base bumper... I cut the bumper myself and had a little tire shop weld them on (with me holding in place of course) and the thing that saved me the most is that cheap $3 door guard trim from walli~world!!! Ok enough here's the pics tell me what yall think!!!

I think it looks like crap. Sorry to sound like an asshole, but I'm just calling it how I see it.

Hmm it flows well, shape wise with the bumper. However, I think the tips look too elongated. I am not feeling it.

Great idea and good start.
Now you see what it looks like.
Go over it a second time and make the cut out look a little better and then it will look sweet.
Give you props for trying this too.
It would be extreamly hard to get this to line up properly with out some body work and filler.

Needs some finishing touches on the install, but I appreciate the effort you made to get it done. You get an atta-boy for that in itself.

The black liner is what's killing it.
The tips look good though.

No offense but your cuts look like a hack job from hell. The lines aren't straight, the tips stick out further on the inside than on the outside and the outside cuts are elongated. Looks like it was done in a hurry. Sorry bro but it could have been done alot better. That there looks like a bunch of rice

All I can say is.....

.....rodney's body shop definitely does better work

Although I think you can salvage the appearance by simply placing a type-s rear aspec kit over it......

Nice try, but NO!!!!! Like someone else said if you're gonna do something custom do it right.

Look at your install, then look at Rodney's,
then look at yours then look at Rodney's,
then look at yours again, then look at Rodney's,
then look at yours, then look at Rodney's,
then look at yours AGAIN,
then look at Rodney's.
Then look at yours one more time.
Then look at Rodney's.
Then after all that,
look at your install, then look at Rodney's.
Then go try again.

Does your shop have a car compactor? If so, drive right in. Seriously, fix it. That's embarrassing.

Edit: no don't fix it. Put the stock tips back on. You drive an Acura, not a Lexus.

its cool if yall don't like it i just want to know because i do...
it was more flush on the sides but i had to end up trimming extra space cause the exhaust gets hot an was about to start melting the bumper you can tell a little bit on the right where it got hot an melted in very slightly; idk maybe it just looks better in person??? but i do know that its not perfect to the T but im still happy... maybe one day someone who doesn't like it can sell me another bumper for cheap but like i said im happy with how it looks and everyone ive showed it to so far said i haven't messed up my car...
