This was an awesome meet! Thanks to all those who showed up. A lot of people took pics, so post up.

We has a total of approximately 40 cars show up including two Integra Type-Rs and two NSXs. We had several categories in which the cars we judged in which trophies and certificates were awarded. As the trophies were supplied by Jay Wolf Acura only Acura TLs were eligible for the first 3 categories. We hope to change this in the future. All cars attending were judged for the certificate awarded categories.

The Trophy category winners are:
Best in Show: Tommy (02Type-s), 2002 Silver TL-S
Best Performance Mods: Parth (paz840), 2005 NBP TL
Most Radical: Danial (Fulani Has A TL), 2006 NBP TL

The Certificate category winners are:

^^Arsenic reppin hard! Thats awsome that the three guys (counting me) I brought out from my team all won something. WOOT! I had a good time, we should have more of these. Next time all you KC guys can come to STL! YOU can ejoy the road trip lol. It was great talking to some of you guys, I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to meet more of you tho, I woke up late, we would have been there a lot sooner.

Definatily a great meet. My dorky friends was all still sleeping. My first meet that i ever attended. Finally got to meet some really cool peeps that have great interest. Hey can someone tell me if that accord with the dt3 had a tl engine conversion?

JAY WOLFE ACURA REALLY did a great job and totally stepped up to the plate for this 1st ever event. First, they cleared out their entire front lot so we could park our cars. Then, they provided lunch for everyone-they cooked hamburgers, brats and hotdogs-then had chips and drinks too. Plus the owners $91,000 NSX was there too! By the way, the $91K didn't include the $35,000 worth of high performance mods to it! Plus, they had two 2009 TSX's on display for us to look at.

Then, they made trophies for 3 car-winner categories. Plus, they handed out Acura hats to all entries as well as free oil change coupons. Then they also handed out discount coupons for car service too.

Now, THAT'S what I call Customer Service above and beyond the call of duty. Originally, another AcuraZiner (Buda) asked Superior Acura to sponsor the event, but they turned it down. I asked Jay Wolfe Acura to do it, and WOW. They REALLY came through with shining colors to call to make this an awesome event. I've got to tip my hat to JAY WOLFE ACURA. They made sure everyone had a great time at this meet. Plus, the weather was absolutely perfect-71 degrees and not a cloud in the sky.

Good job guys! it's not an easy task to have that many cars there, then food, freebies, and trophies!? Hopefully, it will be an annual or semi-annual event at that dealer.

It looks like you guys had a lot of fun! Gotta love a meet at an Acura dealer!

Thanks enigmaos. It was alot of fun. Jay Wolfe Acura said they would like to sponsor this event every year, which is VERY cool. What was nice was that we originally registered about 28 cars on A-Zine.com, but almost 40 showed up.

It's really hard to find dealership owners like that - sponosoring events for acura/honda enthusiasts.

We definately got lucky for sure. Actually, I just went in to talk to the sales manager, told him what we wanted to do and he said, "I'll talk to the owner about it." I told him we just wanted a place to have the event and some visibility for the dealership. He came up with the trophies, food, the NSX, discount coupons for service, free oil change coupons and employees to man the event (to cook food and judge the event).

So really, Jay Wolfe Acura went above and beyond on this event. Actually, Buda talked to the Superior Acura people first, and they turned it down. So I went in to see the Jay Wolfe people-not asking for any money to sponsor the event-and they REALLY went all out. What a class act they are !!!

Don't think it will happen in NY. on top of all those issues, space is another one. lol Most dealers don't even have enough room to handle 20-30 cars minimum.

yeah, it's a great opportunity to attract more customers/buyers since it's hosted/sponsored by the dealer as an "official" Acura event. instead of being labeled as "fast and furious" meet. lol
