Maybe the pics did not portray it very well, but these are the gunmetal 2004 aspec rims. The only year it was made in gunmetal color and 8.5 width... they only have black chrome and silver nowadays.
sold the originals for 740 because of a small paint chip.

I still don't understand why these aren't fuckin STANDARD on the Type-S....how f*ckin blind are you Acura? Sorry, but how much more could it possibly cost them....most peoples grips with the car are those ugly stock wheels

thanx for the response guys!! I might get the aspec suspension soon, but might skip the lip kit, in my opinion they kinda make the car look bulky on the bottom especially in the back. anyway, when the guys assembled the center caps, they forgot to take the adhesive backing from the A part and screwed the part right into the back plate, so the red you see is actually adhesive paper, I might redo it, but I kinda like it as is, what do you guys think??

I actually think the silver a-specs look good here, I am usually a fan of the gunmetal ones. Way WAY better than the Type-S rims!
Nice touch with the red centercaps....usually I wouldn't like that either, but it goes with your car, nice offset to the red lit interior! Nice, unique!

It always makes me giddy to see pics of the kinetic blue!
...the photo in the parking deck with the clouds is my favorite out of the bunch.

Yup I know the tape on the center was suppose to be removed, the idiot "Tirerack recommended installer" did not. But I actually kinda like how it came out, so I kept it.
I am actually in San Jose, we have discount tires here too, but I never go there, they damaged two sets of my wheels on my previous cars. They have excellent customer service but crappy equipment and pressure to go fast on work...
