It's official, today I hit my 3 month aniversary with my car...
we've been through a lot...8000 miles, new friends on acurazine. lots of pictures...new wheels, added clear bra, and waxed and washed too many times (neighbors think im a nut)
Still loving it, however the honeymoon is over, im focused back on life, friends, and work...(they all thought i was obsessive and still make fun of me...HHAH)

I got new Glasses from the woman for XMAS
They were 100 dollars at costco price club...(similar to pricing found on internet, but much faster to go down the street.
Requirements: Polarized to reduce glare
Brown Lens: Brown lens colors are easist on eyes, and cause least amount of stress on eyes during long driving periods. (my commute is one hour each way)
Styling: Raybans, what can i say? Classic styling that will always look good.

no, you cant use the touch screen for the dvd player, but it did come with a remote control which is better, as the passenger can sit back and use it (see previous pics on page 1 or 2)
The voice commands still work when using dvd player, and i can listen to the stereo while the passenger listens to the headphones.

Hey Jerky. It was partly because of your pics, but mainly because the colors I wanted most (Black or Blue) are hard to maintain, and this is my first car so I've no clue how to keep it clean. Was looking at white but decided against it.

Jerky,
Just gave you some points - but I just had a chance to look through your photos. They are, in a word, AMAZING. Great job on these. Let's meet up sometime... I'm in the East Bay (near Ikea). I know some places where you can take some really nice photos because of the background.
This was a quickie photo from the Spring, but I'm sure you can do a much better job with some patience and time.

Damage Report
Damage Report: Jerky’s Fender Bender
The Story
Back in September, while backing up a curved slanted driveway, Jerky failed to realize how close his car was to a pillar and kissed it with his rear right fender
Damage
Scrape, Scratch, and Bending of rear quarter panel
One scratched aspec rim (adds character)
Repair
Went to a large collision repair center (m2 collision in union city, ca) total cost 1000 dollars, 3 days of labor. Plus rental car, research, and lots of crying
Results
Everything is fine now WHEW!!!
Very people have noticed the damage, car has been to two Acura meets, no one noticed
A visible color difference can be seen in low light environments, or during dawn. Structural repair perfect
Rim still scratches (adds character)
Lesson
TL has huge blind spot when driving backwards, especially in upward curved slant.
AND...it's just a car...no need to get worked up about it...life, friends, and family are always more important

Damage Report: Jerky’s Cracked Rear Light
The Story
On new year's eve, some asshole punched or hit my light and cracked it, on broadway in north beach SF. It's sort of my fault for parking down there...as I should have known better than to do that on a rowdy day.
Damage
Cracked right rear lamp unit. you can't just replace the plastic cover you have to replace the entire lamp unit.
Repair
I found out that its not a simple replace, the entire bumper will have to come off, and as you know i have the aspec kit, so it will prob take 1-2 hours. I have some friends that will take care of it, so I'm not too worried.
Results
I have the parts, but have yet to complete the labor...
I bought the part online at
http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org/
The service was good, and the part came quickly in a big box
Lesson
Dont' take my nice car to the city and park it near drunk asses
