Hopefully everyone can rally behind him and put the decisiveness of the campaign season behind them. This can potentially be very good for the country.

Democrats in recessed economy = depression.

Get ready to loose more in the stock market, loose more gun freedoms, and pay more taxes... All those campaign promises gotta get pid for somehow.

when they annouced that obama won the presidency... my neighborhood erupted in honking, partying, cheerful joy and plenty of celebrations in the streets

the economy is in the toilet because the upper class deleted the middle class and has robbed the lower class

anyone who believes we dont need a democratic president is obviously not listening to the foreign policy that the republican's continued to push...

gas prices are high because of the republicans
there is a financial crisis because of the republicans

and obama won because of the poll on azine, it clearly said he'd win the election via landslide and also win the popular vote... which occured when the polls closed on the west

oh and cuz of bob the builder... yes we can

if you must imply....

it isn't that they can't read, it is that they don't read

I can tell you from what family and friends have done, they don't read, you see they'll fillout a form, get approved for the home loan and ecstatically sign... not realizing there is a trick in the fine print, that states miss even 1 payment and you'll get screwed

That's not a trick. It is the buyers responsibility to read through everything. They weren't buying a pair of sneakers.

And it wasn't missing 1 payment...it's that they were trying to borrow more than they can handle.

Unfortunately, millions thought they could afford a $500,000 or more house when their income was less then $50,000 a year.

Ummm...a government controlled by one party can make things a lot worse.

We'll see what happens and I hope for the best but there were talks prior to election of raising taxes....

Good. Less idiots with guns FTW. I was getting some food the other day, and I saw some raggedy looking redneck holding a conf. flag in one hand and a sign in the other saying "Obama plans to take my guns away!"

While I agree with your first statement, putting Mccain into office would've been the worst thing for this country. It would've essentially been a re-run of the last eight years with our last sorry excuse for a president. Republicans had their chance(twice) and fucked up both times (as expected). Our economy is in the shitter and we're neck deep in two very pointless wars, and if Mccain went into office, i'm sure Iran would've been third. We needed to get Bushs' trigger happy jewish mafia gang out of office

We'll see how this plays out...

*wrote this on my blackberry sorry if its hard to understand lol

I know.

Hopefully this is a lesson learned and will be better off for it but somehow I'm thinking we'll face something similar 10-15 years from now.
